Abstract

This main objective is described in threeobjectives, namely, first, to describe the reality of the digital era as the context oftoday's youth. Second, describe the catechesis methods for youth so far and show theirshortcomings in responding to the digital era. Third, describe the catechesis methodusing video media and show its superiority in catechesis for teenagers in the digital era. This writing is a result of qualitative research with document study researchmethods. The data studied are secondary data in the form of literature related to the variables. Data collection is done by means of documentation or archive techniqueswhere the author searches for and reads various relevant literatures on the studyvariables and conducts studies and quotes various relevant theories and studies toexplore various information and related factual data. Then the data analysis technique iscarried out with a flow model starting from data collection, data reduction, data displayand conclusions. Based on the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded that he realityof the digital era has influenced today's youth and caused certain characters such asdigitally oriented, practical and instant, confident, loving diversity, having a passion forsharing, hyper customization, driven to success. The catechesis methods that are usuallycarried out with teenagers have so far paid less attention to the digital character withinthem. These methods do not start the catechesis with a description of a concretesituation or if it is made then the description of the situation is not conveyed in aninteresting and touching way. This is not in accordance with the character of today'steenagers who are digitally oriented, like practical and up-to-date things. Catechesiswith video media is a catechetical method that pays attention to the digitalcharacteristics of adolescents. This method uses video as material for catechesis, describing concrete situations, studying the Scriptures, and stimulating the expression ofreal intentions or actions.

Abstract

God created human in His own image and likeness. Indirectly, God also created humanity to live in fellowship. In daily life, people increasingly recognize the importance of togetherness as a community in strengthening their faith. Women also actively participate in spiritual organizations to deepen their faith. This role is evident among Catholic women at St. Michael's Station, Asueman – under the Parish of St. Theodorus Weluli. One such spiritual fellowship is the prayer group called the Society of Saint Anna. However, many Catholic women—especially those who are newly married—tend to lack awareness or willingness to join this prayer group. This is due to various reasons such as lack of free time, restrictions from their husbands, and other personal circumstances. The purpose of this thesis is to examine the need for Catholic women to increase their awareness and participation in the Society of Saint Anna prayer group, and to understand the role this group plays in deepening the faith of Catholic women within the life of the Church. The research method used is a qualitative approach, specifically a descriptive qualitative study. Data sources include Catholic women who are not yet involved in any spiritual organization, current members of the Society of Saint Anna, the parish priest of St. Theodorus Weluli, and the head of St. Michael's Station, Asueman. The results of the data analysis indicate that Catholic women in the Parish of St. Theodorus Weluli – St. Michael's Station, Asueman, recognize that the Society of Saint Anna is a valuable spiritual organization for strengthening the faith of its members. However, due to their roles as wives and mothers, many Catholic women still do not have the proper opportunity to join such a group. Nevertheless, they strive to live according to the teachings of the Catholic Church in their daily lives.
