Abstract

Paulo Freire’s concept of liberal education is still not implemented in the world of education in developing countries. Educational actors still adhere to the banking system to oppress students. This study raises a social correlation between educators and students called school family kinship. The education curriculum needs to be used as an indicator of success in terms of the intelligence of the children. The curriculum has continued to transform since 1947 to 2022 but has not found its identity. Now, the independent learning curriculum is intensively grounded, but there are gaps between regions and between socio-economic groups in terms of learning quality. The implementation of the independent learning curriculum is considered not to have a significant positive effect in the outermost and marginalized areas. Therefore, the old pattern called banking system of education is still used. Students are considered empty piggy banks that must be filled by the teacher. Teachers are still recognized as the all-knowing in knowledge that must be poured into the brains of students. As a result, students can only follow what is transferred by the teacher. This is the basis for the author to try to provide briefings to Catholic teachers and education personnel in Wini and Wekfau parishes regarding the implementation of an independent curriculum in Catholic Schools. This study uses qualitative methods with observation techniques carried out in coastal parishes (Wini) and in the mountains (Wekfau) in terms of geographical location to find out the similarity of perceptions of the independent curriculum. This study applies a qualitative method with observation techniques carried out in the coastal parish (Wini) and in the mountains (Wekfau) in terms of geographical location to find out the similarities in perceptions of the implementation of the independent curriculum in two different areas.

Abstract

Love for one's country is one of the main things in forming a citizen's character, namely a sense of belonging, a sense of care, a sense of preserving and a sense of wanting to advance the unity of the nation and state. With this attitude of love, the state of the country will be better. The research objectives are 1) to determine the quality of Catholic Religious Education learning outcomes by applying project-based experiential methods to increase the feeling of love for the country for class 2) to determine the quality of the Catholic Religious Education learning process by applying project-based experiential methods to increase the feeling of love for the country for class This research uses Classroom Action Research (PTK) which consists of Cycle I and Cycle II which has four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The results of the research show that through the application of project-based experiential methods the feeling of patriotism in Catholic Religious Education subjects can increase as follows. The data results for Cycle I were 2.59% and Cycle II were 3.97%. From these data it is concluded that the application of project-based experiential methods can increase the feeling of love for the country in Catholic Religious Education Learning for class.

Abstract

The research focus of this paper is the method taken to increase the learning independence of Class VII students at SATAP Nonotbatan State Middle School by using the coaching learning method. The steps of this method are coaching presence, active listening, powerful questions, giving feedback. The aims of this research are (1) to increase the learning independence of Class VII students at SATAP Nonotbatan State Middle School; (2) To determine the effectiveness of implementing the coaching method of learning on the material "Jesus is Merciful" for Class VII students at SATAP Nonotbatan State Middle School. The subjects of this research were Class VII students at SATAP Nonotbatan State Middle School for the 2023/2024 academic year. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research. This research was carried out in three cycles, starting with planning, then implementation, observation and ending with reflection which was carried out in one meeting. The results of the research show that the application of the coaching method can increase the learning independence of Class VII students in Catholic religious education learning, where in cycle I it was 43.66% with poor criteria, cycle II increased to 79.77% with good criteria and cycle III increased to 97.44% with very good criteria. Based on the results of this research, the researcher concluded that the coaching method could increase the learning independence of class VII students at SATAP Nonotbatan State Middle School for the 2023/2024 academic year, seen from observations that occurred during III, namely that the students' attitudes met the criteria for learning independence.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh pola asuh orang tua terhadap kejadian hamil di luar nikah pada remaja putri di Desa Kakaniuk.  Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kausal komparatif karena bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan antara pola asuh orang tua dengan kejadian hamil di luar nikah pada remaja putri. Populasi penelitian ini adalah remaja putri dengan jumlah responden 60. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan lembar kuesioner. Hasil analisis regresi logistik biner menunjukkan bahwa ketiga pola asuh orang tua yaitu, otoriter, demokratis, dan permisif berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kejadian hamil di luar nikah pada remaja putri. Nilai signifikansi masing-masing berada di bawah 0,05 yang menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang bermakna secara statistik antara pola asuh dan risiko kehamilan di luar nikah. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pola asuh berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kejadian hamil diluar nikah.
