Abstract

Inefficient waste management often leads to negative impacts on the environment, health, and the economy of the community. One solution to address this issue is through the waste bank program, which not only reduces waste volume but also provides additional economic value to the community through recycling processes. This program is important for realizing a sustainable economy, especially in urban areas facing increasingly complex waste problems. This community service aims to enhance community participation in waste bank management in Gunung Anyar Tambak Village, as well as assess its impact on the local economy and environment. The applied methods include socialization to raise awareness about waste sorting, training for waste bank managers, and the implementation of a community-based waste management system. The results of this activity show a significant increase in community participation, from 25% to 60% within three months. Additionally, several families earned extra income from recycling waste. This program has also successfully raised environmental awareness among the community. The sustainability of the program requires further support from various parties, especially in strengthening capacity and maintaining existing facilities. Overall, this waste bank management shows great potential in creating a sustainable economy and improving the quality of life for the community.

Abstract

Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) memiliki peran strategis dalam perekonomian nasional, namun masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan, salah satunya adalah rendahnya tingkat legalitas usaha. Legalitas, seperti Nomor Induk Berusaha (NIB), penting untuk meningkatkan kredibilitas, memperluas akses pasar, serta mempermudah pelaku UMKM dalam mengakses program pemerintah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan kepatuhan legalitas usaha di kalangan UMKM melalui sosialisasi dan pendampingan pembuatan NIB menggunakan sistem Online Single Submission (OSS). Kegiatan dilakukan selama program magang di Dinas Koperasi, Usaha Kecil dan Menengah serta Perdagangan (DINKOPDAG) Kota Surabaya, khususnya di Kelurahan Gundih, Kecamatan Bubutan. Metode yang digunakan meliputi survei, penyuluhan, motivasi, dan pendampingan teknis secara door to door kepada 16 UMKM setempat. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas pelaku usaha belum memiliki NIB, dan melalui pendekatan persuasif serta bantuan teknis, mereka mulai menyadari pentingnya legalitas usaha. Inisiatif ini diharapkan dapat menjadi contoh praktik baik dalam mendorong transformasi usaha informal menjadi lebih formal dan profesional di wilayah perkotaan.

Abstract

The rapid development of social media has changed the way people obtain information about culinary experiences. Reviews delivered by food vloggers often become a reference; however, issues related to consumer trust arise because the content is often in the form of paid promotions, making it perceived as less objective. On the other hand, electronic word of mouth (e-WOM), which is based on users direct experiences, is considered more neutral and trustworthy. This study aims to analyze the influence of consumer trust in food vlogger reviews and e-wom on culinary purchase decisions in Surabaya. This research employs a quantitative method with an explanatory approach. The instrument used is a questionnaire distributed online. The sample consists of 100 respondents selected using purposive sampling based on predetermined criteria. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modelling based on Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) with the assistance of SmartPLS software. The results of this study indicate that consumer trust in food vlogger reviews has a positive but not significant effect on purchase decisions, while electronic word of mouth has a positive and significant effect on purchase decisions.
