Abstract

This study aims to analyze teachers' teaching strategies in fostering reading interest among fifth-grade students at SDN Panongan 1. Teachers' strategies in cultivating reading interest are crucial as it significantly impacts students' literacy and academic development. The method employed was descriptive qualitative with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Findings indicate that teaching strategies involving varied learning approaches, positive teacher-student interactions, and supportive learning environments significantly enhance students' reading interest. Additional supportive factors such as school support and parental involvement also play pivotal roles in the success of these strategies.

Abstract

It is of great importance to conduct validity and reliability testing in a study in order to ascertain the feasibility and effectiveness of the instruments employed. In this study, an analysis is required to ascertain the results of the validity and reliability tests on mathematical critical thinking skills utilising the SPSS and Winsteps applications. The research method employed was quantitative survey research, with a total of 133 high school students in the Jakarta and Depok areas comprising the sample population. The instrument designed to assess critical thinking skills comprises four indicators. The validity test on the mathematical critical thinking ability instrument with the SPSS application indicates that one value (value 11) is invalid, as evidenced by the Pearson correlation value. However, the remaining values meet the requirements for validity. The reliability value obtained through SPSS yielded a result of α = 0.75. The same results are observed when the Winsteps application is employed. One value (value 11) is identified as invalid, while the remaining values meet the criteria for the MNSQ outfit value, ZSTD outfit, and PTMEA-CORR. In addition, the reliability results obtained using Winsteps yielded a Cronbach's Alpha coefficient value of 0.87, indicating a high degree of reliability.

Abstract

Layanan pendidikan inklusi di SDN Cimone 7 Kota Tangerang menawarkan akses pendidikan yang setara bagi siswa dengan kebutuhan khusus. Dengan kurikulum Merdeka, sekolah ini memastikan peserta didik inklusi mendapatkan pengajaran serupa dengan siswa reguler. Program ini bertujuan menciptakan anak-anak inklusi mandiri dan melayani kebutuhan diri sendiri. Pendidikan inklusif di SDN Cimone 7 mendukung hak setiap anak, termasuk anak berkebutuhan khusus, sesuai UU Nomor 20 tahun 2003. Sekolah ini menerima anak slow learner dan fast learner dengan penerapan kebijakan penerimaan yang selektif. Analisis menunjukkan upaya sekolah dalam menciptakan lingkungan inklusif melalui manajemen yang efektif. Sekolah ini menyediakan layanan inklusi untuk berbagai kategori ABK, seperti ADD, autisme, disleksia, dan disgrafia. Proses pembelajaran berfokus pada Program Pembelajaran Individual pada hari Rabu dan Kamis. Lingkungan fisik dan sarana prasarana didesain khusus untuk mendukung pembelajaran inklusi. Sekolah ini juga menjalankan program-program seperti assessment, intervensi murid, penyediaan dan penggunaan media, serta intervensi orangtua.
