Abstract

Social science is a field that explores social behavior and activities in human life. The learning approach for students in social science has many types of approaches, therefore this article will describe the types of learning approaches for students in social science. This research uses descriptive qualitative, the research source is a literature review obtained from articles, journals, books, research reports, cofference proceedings, theses and so on. In this article, it is explained about 4 approaches that are carried out in social studies learning, namely Thematic, Scientific, Interdisciplinary, and Constructivist Approaches which are explained in detail in the content of the article. Overall, the application of various innovative approaches to social studies learning is important to create a more interesting, relevant and interactive learning experience. By using the right methods, social studies not only improves the quality of education, but also prepares young people with 21st century skills such as critical thinking, collaboration, communication and creativity. This is very relevant in facing challenges in the era of globalization.

Abstract

Mosques have an important role in the lives of Muslims, not only as places of worship, but also as centers of social, cultural, and educational activities. This research reveals the history of the establishment of the Taqwa Mosque in Seri Tanjung Village, Tanjung Batu District, Ogan Ilir Regency, as well as the important role of Manda Haji Bun Yamin as a local figure in the process of building the mosque. Using historical and sociological approaches, this study shows that the mosque not only reflects the spiritual development of the community, but also symbolizes unity and independence in building religious facilities independently. The results found that Manda Haji Bun Yamin had a strong religious and social vision, reflected in his initiative to build a permanent two-story mosque that would later become the center of community activities. The Taqwa Mosque is not only a place of worship, but also plays a role in religious education, distribution of social assistance, preservation of traditions, and strengthening the value of tolerance between religious communities. This research emphasizes the importance of exploring and documenting local history as part of the cultural heritage and identity of the local Muslim community.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the development of digital technology, which has driven a transformation in the learning paradigm from conventional models to more flexible, interactive, and innovative technology-based learning. Changes in student characteristics in the digital era require adaptive learning strategies that are able to improve both the efficiency of the learning process and learning outcomes. This study aims to describe and analyze digital learning strategies in enhancing learning efficiency and their impact on student achievement. The research employs a qualitative approach using a literature review by examining various relevant scientific sources related to the concepts, characteristics, implementation, and impacts of digital learning. The data were analyzed using content analysis techniques to produce a systematic conceptual framework. The findings indicate that systematically designed digital learning strategies can improve conceptual understanding through interactive content delivery, strengthen students’ motivation and independent learning, and enhance retention and learning mastery. Learning efficiency is reflected in flexible access, time optimization, and technology-based assessment. However, its implementation still faces challenges such as limited infrastructure and digital literacy. Therefore, careful planning and the improvement of digital competencies are necessary to ensure that digital learning can be implemented effectively and sustainably in improving the quality of education.
