Abstract

Reading the Qur'an is a fundamental skill that should be introduced from an early age. Juz 'Amma, as the last part of the Qur'an, is often the initial stage in learning to read the Qur'an for children. However, conventional learning methods are often less interactive and less interesting for early childhood. Therefore, this study aims to develop a Juz 'Amma reading learning application specifically designed for early childhood. This application integrates multimedia elements, such as sound, animation, and digital interaction, to increase interest and effectiveness of learning. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) development model. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and application trials on early childhood groups. The results of the study showed that this application can increase children's learning motivation and help them recognize and read the verses of Juz 'Amma better. This application also makes it easier for parents and teachers to accompany the learning process. Thus, the development of this Juz 'Amma reading learning application is expected to be an innovative solution in Al-Qur'an education for early childhood, as well as contributing to improving Al-Qur'an literacy from an early age.

Abstract

Pancasila education plays a crucial role in instilling the values of tolerance among students, especially within the context of religious-based schools. The issue addressed in this study is the lack of understanding and practice of tolerance among students, which can affect their social interactions in the school environment. This research aims to analyze the implementation of Pancasila education at MIS Hidayatul Mubtadiin Mukomuko and its influence on shaping students' attitudes of tolerance. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with a case study design, involving observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data were collected from teachers, students, the school principal, and parents to explore their views on Pancasila education and its impact on tolerance. The results of the study indicate that Pancasila education at MIS Hidayatul Mubtadiin Mukomuko has been thoroughly implemented through classroom learning and daily school activities. Students demonstrated positive attitudes of tolerance, such as respecting differences and collaborating regardless of background. However, challenges remain in deeply internalizing the value of tolerance, as minor conflicts still occur among students. The novelty of this research lies in emphasizing the active role of teachers and school principals in consistently applying Pancasila values, as well as the involvement of parents and the community in supporting character education. In conclusion, Pancasila education that is based on real practices in schools can foster strong tolerance among students, although continuous reinforcement of these values is necessary.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strengthening of Aqidah Akhlak learning in shaping students’ ethics of respecting teachers at the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah level. The background of this research is based on the importance of instilling noble moral values from an early age as a foundation for students’ character development. Aqidah Akhlak learning, which is derived from the Qur’an and Hadith, plays a strategic role in fostering respectful, polite, and ethical attitudes toward teachers as educators and moral role models. This research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. The research subjects consisted of the school principal, Aqidah Akhlak teachers, and parents. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, while data validity was ensured through source and technique triangulation. The findings indicate that strengthening Aqidah Akhlak learning through teachers’ role modeling, habituation practices, and a religious school culture effectively shapes students’ ethics in respecting teachers. However, the consistency of these ethical behaviors requires continuous support from the family environment. This study concludes that synergy between schools and parents is essential to optimize the formation of students’ ethics in respecting teachers at the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah level.
