Abstract

Abstract Strategic management is basically a management of decisions that are fundamental and comprehensive in nature, by determining how to implement programs that have been created and implemented in organizations or companies. This study aims to describe the strategic management carried out by Majelis Tabligh of PWM DIY. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, using primary data sources and secondary data sources. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data validity techniques use triangulation of data sources and triangulation of data collection. Data analysis methods used include data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Keywords: Strategy Management, Majelis Tabligh PWM DIY, SWOT Analysis Abstrak Manajemen strategi pada dasarnya merupakan pengelolaan keputusan yang sifatnya mendasar dan menyeluruh, dengan menetapkan cara pelaksanaan program yang telah dibuat dan diimplementasikan dalam organisasi maupun perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan manajemen strategi yang dilakukan oleh Majelis Tabligh PWM DIY. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif, dengan menggunakan sumber data primer dan sumber data sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber data dan triangulasi pengumpulan data. Metode analisis data yang digunakan mencakup koleksi data, reduksi data, penyajian data serta penarikan kesimpulan. Kata kunci: Manajemen Strategi, Majelis Tabligh Muhammadiyah, SWOT

Abstract

The quality of learning in the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum continues to face significant challenges, particularly regarding teachers’ pedagogical competencies. National data from UKG, AKG, PMM, and Sulingjar reveal persistent gaps in pedagogical mastery, which directly affect the effectiveness of differentiated learning and the achievement of the 8 Graduate Profile Dimensions, the new national learning outcomes standard. School principals’ academic supervision is viewed as a strategic instrument to address these issues; however, previous studies have largely focused on administrative aspects, with limited attention to integrating deep learning approaches within the supervision process. This study aims to analyze the role of optimizing principals’ academic supervision in enhancing teachers’ pedagogical competencies to support the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum based on deep learning. A literature study method was employed by reviewing books, scientific articles, educational policies, and relevant research published within the last decade. The findings show that systematic, continuous, and needs-based academic supervision can significantly improve teachers’ ability to design active and reflective learning, develop HOTS-based instructional materials, and create collaborative learning environments that support the achievement of the 8 Graduate Profile Dimensions.

Abstract

Planning in Islam emphasizes the systematic, orderly, efficient, and responsible implementation of every activity as part of the mandate of human stewardship on earth. In the context of education, planning has a strategic role in shaping students who are faithful, knowledgeable, and noble in character, as well as capable of contributing constructively to social life. This study aims to examine and formulate the concepts and principles of Islamic educational planning based on the perspectives of the Qur'an and Hadith. The study uses a library research approach by examining verses from the Qur'an, the Prophet's hadith, and academic literature relevant to Islamic educational planning. The results of the study show that Islamic education planning is holistic, integrative, and future-oriented, combining spiritual, moral, intellectual, and social dimensions in a balanced manner. The main principles found include holistic balance, gradual planning (tadarruj) and priority setting, visionary orientation, moral responsibility (amanah), benefit, as well as deliberation and collectivity. In addition, Islamic education planning emphasizes the importance of adapting to the dynamics of the times, optimal utilization of resources, and wise management of time and potential. This study concludes that Islamic education planning must integrate human efforts with faith in Allah SWT so that the goals of education that balance worldly and hereafter life can be achieved and produce a superior generation that is ready to face contemporary challenges.

Abstract

Madrasah teachers play a strategic role in improving the quality of Islamic education, but in practice they still face challenges such as low professional competence, limited learning innovation, and a lack of effective and sustainable guidance. One effort to overcome these problems is through the implementation of targeted and systematic supervision. This study aims to analyze the concept and implementation of the directive supervision approach in madrasah teacher development and its implications for improving teacher professionalism. The directive approach is considered relevant because it provides clear, structured, and effective guidance to enhance teacher competence and performance continuously. This study uses the library research method with a descriptive qualitative approach, and data were obtained from books, scientific journals, and previous studies. The results show that directive supervision is effective in improving teacher professionalism through structured guidance, mentoring, and evaluation, enabling teachers to become more disciplined, skilled, and focused in carrying out their duties. However, if applied rigidly, this approach may limit teachers’ creativity and initiative. Therefore, directive supervision needs to be combined with collaborative elements so that teacher development becomes more adaptive, participatory, and sustainable.
