Abstract

It is a fact that social stratum is an effect of the differences of education, economy, or ancestry. It appears since the human beings lived together in a social organization. The main cause for the appearance of social strata is the imbalance between rights and obligation of the member of society and the unfair share of power in the society. Social stratum and education is mutually influential in two ways. First, high education needs fund and motivation. Second, type of education determines the social stratum. In other words, education does not only provide skills but also cause some differences in term of way of life and mental life.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the planning, process, strategy, supporting and inhibiting aspects, and evaluation to improve the quality of learning through the development of arts and culture-based creativity Methods This study used a qualitative approach with multiple types of cases, its location in the SMP 2 Ngunut and MTsN Ariyojeding Rejotangan, the data in this study are primary and secondary data, engineering data collection by observation or participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. From these results the authors concluded that: (1) Syllabus and lesson plans, which are prepared each semester by the subject teachers of art and culture. (2) Processes in the two institutions are also equally divided into two, with the delivery of content and practice, which in this case were similarly associated with the environment, in order to increase students’ interest and creativity. (3) Pay attention to the material compliance strategy, timing and conditions of the students at that time. (4) Supporting aspects (proper purpose, teachers are creative, active students and spirit, facilities and infrastructure adequate, and the environmental conditions that support time), and the inhibiting aspects (related to the students’ attitude sometimes crowded during the learning process and disturb her during the learning process). (5) Evaluation used in these two institutions, namely: evaluation practice, writing and oral.

Abstract

Islamic educational institutions, in general, play a significant role in the world of education. Through a learning process, these institutions should be able to bring students towards national education goals and become a mirror for other educational institutions. This article attempts to examine Islamic educational intuitions, both formal and informal, in Indonesia focusing on their models. The discussion centers on two largest models of Islamic educations institutions in Indonesia, which pesantren (non-formal) and madrasah (formal). It is true that diversification of Islamic educational institutions supported with clear objectives and focused on professionaldifferentiation is a good, effective, and efficient way of education. Nevertheless, this article argues that such diversification will only lead to duplications, uselessness and ineffectiveness if the term means only pseudodiversification with outer and artificial purposes.Keywords: Lembaga Pendidikan Islam, Pesantren, Madrasah

Abstract

Reality shows that there are problems in education sociology lecturing process. Amount of discussion about social interaction in sociology education is expected in Higher Education Level, namely social interaction between lecturers and students and between students and students. This study discusses about the role of lecturers in developing material to improve social interaction, developing verbal and written communication through communication media, the role of lecturers in developing sosial interaction at education sociology lecturing process. This study uses qualitative method. Data are collected by participatory observation, in-depth interviews and documentation techniques. Analysis techniques use data analysis in sites and cross sites. The results show that lecturers develop materials to improve student social interaction, lecturers develop verbal or written communication through discussions related to constraints students, and evaluating through paper assignments, journal making and directing students to the community.

Abstract

Abstract- The aim of the current study is to inspect the influence of teachers’ performance, emotions, attitudes and beliefs on the educational reforms in the Tulungagung, Indonesia. While another aim of the existing research is to analyze the mediating effects of the supply chain on the links among the teachers’ performance and educational reforms, teachers’ emotions and educational reforms, teachers’ attitudes and educational reforms and teachers’ beliefs and educational reforms. The data was collected from the government higher secondary educational institutionsthat are working under the territory of Tulungagung, Indonesia. For the analysis purposes, PLS-SEM was used in this study. The findings uncovered that positive nexus among the teachers’ performance, emotions, attitudes, beliefs and educational reforms. The outcomes also uncovered that the supply chain significantly as well as positively influenced the links among the teachers’ performance and educational reforms, teachers’ emotion and educational reforms, teachers’ attitudes and educational reforms and teachers’ beliefs and educational reforms. This research provides the guidelines to the regulations making authorities that they should develop and implement the regulations that enhance the above-mentioned characteristics of the teachers that enhance the educational reforms within the educational institution in Indonesia.

Abstract

Perekonomian nasional bergantung pada gerak aktivitas ekonomi masyarakat. Pandemi COVID-19 telah mengubah gaya hidup hingga melesukan aktivitas perekonomian akibat adanya aturan pembatasan mobilitas masyarakat. Indonesia bahkan resmi resesi pada kuartal ketiga tahun 2020 pada pertumbuhan ekonomi -3.49%. Industri perbankan syariah yang menjadi salah satu lembaga intermediasi keuangan juga ikut terdampak meskipun tidak lebih parah dari perbankan konvensional. Tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran negara dalam ketahanan perbankan syariah dimasa pandemi COVID-19. Adapun artikel disusun dengan pendekatan yuridis normatif dengan metode studi kepustakaan (literature review). Hasil pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa perbankan syariah mengalami perkembangan pada kuantitas aset sebesar Rp545,39 Triliun. Meskipun disisi lain operasi perbankan syariah juga mengalami perlambatan pertumbuhan seperti dalam pembiayaan yang disalurkan, dana pihak ketiga, dan kualitas aset, namun pertumbuhan aset perbankan syariah bahkan lebih tinggi yaitu 9,22% daripada perbankan konensional yang hanya tumbuh diangka 5%. Ketahanan perbankan syariah terhadap krisis pandemi COVID-19 ini tidak lepas dari peran negara. Berbagai regulasi yang dikeluarkan mampu menciptakan ketahanan dan bahkan mendorong pertumbuhan perbankan syariah.

Abstract

This study was carried out in response to the demand that in this 4.0 era, Indonesian students should be proficient in English. Hence, in Indonesia, English has been taught and learnt since elementary school level up to tertiary level of education. This long period of learning should lead the students to be proficient in English which is proved by passing the minimum score of 450 TOEFL test. Yet, many of them did not meet the minimum score. Thus, this study investigates their perception and belief in learning English and the challenge of being able to be proficient in English. The study was done qualitatively through interviewing 80 students of non-English Department who were taking TOEFL course. It reveals that English is perceived like a two-side coin which in one hand, it is misperceived as a difficult subject because of its complicated rules to be memorized. In the other hand, it is thought to be joyful and meaningful that they believe as a means of bringing educational, social, and economical success. Therefore, they are challenged to be proficient in English. This study is then pedagogically implemented through building positive belief and perception that learning English is fun and helpful.Keywords: Belief; perception; challenge; and globalization era

Abstract

Jurnal ini menguraikan tentang pembinaan terhadap semangat guru. Adapun fokus pada jurnal ini adalah 1) Konsep Pembinaan Guru, 2) Tujuan, Fungsi, dan Prinsip Pembinaan Guru, 3) Pembinaan Semangat Guru. Tujuan penulisan jurnal ilmiah ini adalah untuk memaparkan tentang pembinaan terhadap semangat guru. Jurnal ini menggunakan metode analisis kepustakaan yaitu dengan memanfaatkan sumber perpustakaan untuk memperoleh teori - teori dan membatasi kegiatan hanya pada bahan-bahan koleksi perpustakaan dan rujukan faktual lainnya.

Abstract

The development of education in the modern era must be a concern for all education actors, in the context of this study, which is related to educational innovation in the digital era. Tulungagung Regency is one of the areas that is also affected or also intersects with the digital era, in which the level of education at the elementary-junior high school level should also follow the times. The research objective is to analyze the concept of innovation in education which is closely related to aspects of social change, but broadly speaking, in implementing educational innovation there are main aspects that are of concern, namely: principals, teachers, students, curriculum, and facilities. This study uses descriptive qualitative research, with informants of education actors in Tulunggaung Regency. The results of this study indicate the main aspects of concern, namely: principals, teachers, students, curriculum, and facilities. Of the five aspects, it is important to carry out an adaptation effort and adjust it according to the conditions and developments of the times. One thing that must be the main concern is on the facility side, of course every change or development of the times also makes a learning model or learning implementation system change. The implementation of adaptation is what makes it important and imperative, especially in the adjustment of learning facilities.
