Abstract

The Tahila tribe is a community group that always tries to preserve culture. The culture that is always passed down is tau tais. Tau tais is a tradition that has been carried out by the people of the Tahila tribe since time immemorial. In this tradition they are directed to change bad habits that always cause problems. The problem that often occurs in the Tahila tribe is regarding the position of women (wives) in front of their husbands. This situation makes some women feel depressed and down so that in the end they close themselves off from being involved in social activities and religious activities. This research aims to determine: (1) the influence of the tau tais tradition on the development of the faith of Tahila tribe women; and (2) the meaning of the tau tais tradition in the Mulieris Dignitatem perspective. The model or type of research used by the author is a descriptive method. The research was carried out using a qualitative approach or research based on nature (natural settings) with the data sources being traditional leaders, community leaders, religious leaders and women figures in the Tahila Tribe. The Tahila Tribe is a community group that is involved in all activities, be it social, economic or religious activities. Their involvement really ensures the continuity and existence of culture. However, the issue of the role and position of women is a problem that exists in the Tahila tribe. Women are considered a secondary group and are only recognized as a complementary and additional group. Therefore, the tau tais tradition has become a real manifestation and step to change the bad views of society, especially their husbands, towards women.

Abstract

Culture includes the idea, customs and works of a group of people that are passed down from generation to generation. To imply a cultured person, a place or environment is needed. The environment in question is a traditional house. The establishment of a traditional house is a tradition inherited from the ancestors in society. Suku Naibesi believes that a traditional house is the center of tribal life. The objectives of this study are: to determine the stages of establishing a traditional house, the reasons, meanings, functions, goals and uses of establishing a traditional house, and to determine the relationship between the establishment of a traditional house and the fellowship of interfaith communities and its impact on tolerance between religious communities. The research model used is a descriptive model that explains and predicts the causes and effects of policy choices and obtains data directly related to the culture of the Naibesi Tribe. The research was conducted using a qualitative approach or research based on nature with data sources being community leaders, namely: the Head of the Suku Naibesi, traditional leaders, Muslim and Protestant communities, and communities originating from the feots in the Naibesi Tribe. From the results of the data analysis obtained, the entire Suku Naibesi community believes that the establishment of traditional houses is a form of unity for the entire tribal community.

Abstract

The purpose of this writing is to find out the meaning of the Tpenan Man Nai Muti tradition, the purpose of Tpenan Man Nai Muti, the values ??contained in the Tpenan Man Nai Muti tradition, the benefits of the Tpenan Man Nai Muti tradition, and to find out its influence on the growth of faith in the sacrament The Eucharist in the light of the encyclical Ecclesia de Eucharistia. The research method uses qualitative methods. Data collection techniques in this method are observation, interviews and documentation as the main tools for collecting data. In this research, almost all Sanak people believe that carrying out the Tpenan Man Nai Muti tradition will have a good influence so that it is always carried out every year. So it can be seen that in real life Tpenan Man Nai Muti has a very important role in the lives of the Sanak tribe people. From there, it can mean that as a cultured and godly society, people are taught to always instill an attitude of trust in the Creator and carry out traditions handed down by their ancestors. Tpenan Man Nai Muti is a traditional stage process in a series of ceremonies that are very important for the life of the Sanak tribe to express gratitude, ask for blessings and obtain sustenance. The Tpenan Man Nai Muti tradition is deeply rooted in the Sanak tribe and is a traditional ceremony every year to present a white rooster to Uis Neno. In this ceremony, previously the Sanak tribe people brought their harvests in the form of rice, corn and tourists to tah fe'u together at the traditional house. So the solution that must be taken to overcome the influence of the growth of faith in the sacrament of the Eucharist is to hold family pastoral visits for people who are less aware and active in activities in the Church, provide catechesis or family formation and pastoral catechesis for people or the community
