Abstract

Penjaminan mutu dharma pendidikan di perguruan tinggi merupakan tanggung jawab penting yang dilaksanakan oleh unit-unit pelaksana akademik, salah satunya Tim Koordinator Semester (TKS). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganlisis pendekatan manajemen POAC (Planning, Organizing, Actuating, dan Controlling) dalam penjaminan mutu dharma pendidikan oleh TKS pada tingkat program studi. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa perencanaan dilakukan dengan mengacu pada kalender akademik, evaluasi semester sebelumnya, serta kebutuhan kurikulum. Pengorganisasian meliputi pembagian tugas berbasis kompetensi dan penetapan struktur kerja yang legal formal. Pelaksanaan difasilitasi dengan pendekatan suportif, apresiasi; dan inovasi digital. Selanjutnya pengendalian dilakukan secara berkala melalui evaluasi kinerja, pelaporan capaian, serta tindakan korektif terhadap kendala. Implementasi POAC secara konsisten mampu meningkatkan efektivitas, efisiensi dan akuntabilitas proses pendidikan. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting bagi pengembangan sistem penjaminan mutu yang berkelanjutan di lingkungan perguruan tinggi, serta mengarahkan TKS untuk berperan aktif dalam menjaga standar akademik dan kualitas pembelajaran.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of fourth-grade students of MI Rifa'iyah Limpung on the subtheme "Weather Conditions", which is caused by the dominance of conventional learning methods that do not actively involve students. To overcome this problem, this research focuses on the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model as an innovative solution to improve learning outcomes and active student participation. This research uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method which is implemented in two cycles, with 25 students as subjects. Each cycle includes the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection, where data is collected through learning outcome tests and observation sheets. The results of the study show a significant and progressive increase in each cycle. The average value of student learning outcomes increased from 65.2 in the initial conditions, to 74.8 in Cycle I, and reached 83.6 in Cycle II. In line with that, the classical learning completion rate also jumped from 36% in the pre-action to 88% at the end of the study. It was concluded that the PBL model proved to be very effective in improving students' understanding and learning outcomes on weather conditions through more active and contextual learning. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar siswa kelas IV MI Rifa’iyah Limpung pada subtema "Keadaan Cuaca", yang disebabkan oleh dominasi metode pembelajaran konvensional yang tidak melibatkan siswa secara aktif. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, penelitian ini berfokus pada penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) sebagai solusi inovatif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar dan partisipasi aktif siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, dengan subjek 25 siswa. Setiap siklus mencakup tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi, di mana data dikumpulkan melalui tes hasil belajar dan lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan dan progresif di setiap siklusnya. Nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa meningkat dari 65,2 pada kondisi awal, menjadi 74,8 pada Siklus I, dan mencapai 83,6 pada Siklus II. Sejalan dengan itu, tingkat ketuntasan belajar klasikal juga melonjak dari 36% pada pra-tindakan hingga mencapai 88% pada akhir penelitian. Disimpulkan bahwa model PBL terbukti sangat efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi keadaan cuaca melalui pembelajaran yang lebih aktif dan kontekstual.

Abstract

This community service activity was carried out as an effort to improve the professional competence of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) teachers in developing teaching modules that are in line with the independent curriculum and student needs. The background to this activity stems from the finding that most MI teachers still experience difficulties in understanding the structure and components of teaching modules, especially in designing integrated learning objectives, learning outcomes, and assessments. The focus of this activity is to provide socialization and technical assistance in developing teaching modules based on student characteristics and the local context of the madrasah. The activity implementation method uses a participatory approach through the stages of preparation, implementation of socialization, assistance in the practice of developing teaching modules, and evaluation of the results of the activity. Participants consisted of 23 teachers from MI Rifaiyah Limpung, Limpung District, Batang Regency. The results of the activity showed an increase in teachers' understanding and skills in developing teaching modules that are more systematic and relevant to learning needs. In addition, participants demonstrated high enthusiasm in adapting the format and principles of developing teaching modules in accordance with the curriculum guidelines. Based on the evaluation results, 85% of participants were able to produce teaching module designs that met the criteria for completeness and appropriateness of content. Thus, this socialization activity has proven effective in strengthening the capacity of MI Rifaiyah Limpung teachers in designing innovative and contextual teaching tools, as well as supporting the improvement of the quality of the learning process at the madrasah.
