Abstract

The importance of the role of internal communication in supporting the effectiveness of extension services and its impact on the productivity of farmer groups, it is necessary to conduct research on the influence of internal communication on the effectiveness of agricultural extension services and its impact on the productivity of farmer groups in Tomohon City. This study aims to analyze the level of effectiveness of internal communication in the Tomohon City Agriculture Service, determine the influence of internal communication on the effectiveness of agricultural extension services, identify the impact of effective extension services on the productivity of farmer groups in Tomohon City. The results of the research analysis are that internal communication in the Tomohon City Agriculture Service is in the fairly good category, Internal communication has a positive and significant influence on the effectiveness of agricultural extension services. The effectiveness of extension services has a significant effect on increasing the productivity of farmer groups. There is a significant indirect influence of internal communication on the productivity of farmer groups through the effectiveness of extension services

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian untuk mengetahui Kinerja Aparatur Sipil Negara di Bagian Legislasi Sekretariat Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah Kota Ambon.Metode penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Dalam penelitian ini penulis mencoba untuk mendeskripsikan mengenai Kinerja Aparatur Sipil Negara di Bagian Legislasi Sekretariat Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah Kota Ambon. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh gambaran bahwa secara keseluruhan Kinerja Aparatur Sipil Negara di Bagian Legislasi Sekretariat Dewan Perwakilan Daerah Kota Ambon sudah berjalan dengan baik, karena berdasarkan hasil penelitian mengenai  kinerja dilihat dari aspek inisiatif yang dilaksanakan oleh pegawai sudah sangat baik, dilihat dari aspek kerjasama dalam melaksanakan tugas sudah berjalan sangat baik, dilihat dari aspek disiplin (sikap/perilaku) pegawai dalam melaksanakan tugas sudah berjalan dengan baik sedangkan dilihat dari aspek tanggungjawab sudah menunjukkan hasil sangat baik.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of communication strategies on the performance of public organizations. Communication strategies are an essential element in building coordination, aligning goals, and improving the quality of public services. However, various studies show that public organizations still face serious challenges in the form of miscommunication, ineffective information flow, and low utilization of internal communication media. These conditions impact performance achievement, both in terms of efficiency, program effectiveness, and public satisfaction as service users. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method targeting employees of public organizations in a specific area. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires adapted from Cutlip & Center's communication strategy model and Robbins' organizational performance indicators. The data were analyzed using linear regression to examine the influence of communication strategies, including message clarity, communication channels, information transparency, and feedback, on organizational performance. The results of the study indicate that communication strategies have a positive and significant impact on public organizational performance. Message clarity and information transparency are the aspects that contribute the most to performance improvement. These findings affirm that the quality of internal communication is a key factor in creating responsive and effective public organizations. This study provides important implications for public organization management to optimize communication strategies through enhancing human resource capacity, utilizing information technology, and developing more structured communication SOPs
