Abstract

Perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi (IPTEK) telah membawa transformasi mendalam terhadap kehidupan manusia, terutama dalam aspek sosial, budaya, dan etika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara komprehensif dampak IPTEK dalam kehidupan masyarakat kontemporer melalui pendekatan kajian literatur. Dengan menggunakan landasan teori modernisasi, konflik sosial, interaksionisme simbolik, dan etika teknologi, artikel ini mengungkap bahwa IPTEK tidak hanya mendorong efisiensi dan konektivitas global, tetapi juga memunculkan tantangan sosial berupa ketimpangan digital, pergeseran budaya lokal, dan dilema etis seperti privasi data dan disrupsi kerja. Hasil kajian menunjukkan pentingnya respons kritis dan regulatif dari masyarakat serta negara agar perkembangan teknologi dapat berjalan secara adil dan bertanggung jawab. Studi ini memberikan kontribusi teoretis dalam memahami relasi antara IPTEK dan struktur sosial modern serta urgensi integrasi nilai-nilai etika dalam pengembangan teknologi.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the Limbungan Grand Mosque in Pagar Alam functions as a center for religious, social, and educational activities. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The results of the study indicate that mosque management includes planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising which are carried out in a structured manner by the management together with the community. Mosque activities reflect Islamic values ​​that live in the community, such as deliberation, trust, and social responsibility. The Limbungan Grand Mosque is also a continuation of the process of Islam entering Indonesia and Pagar Alam which took place peacefully through trade, preaching, education, and culture. In the context of the Islamization of knowledge, the management of this mosque is not only technical, but also spiritual, because it integrates the principles of modern management with Islamic values. Mosques play an important role in strengthening Islamic identity and building a civilization of a society with noble morals.

Abstract

The phenomenon of students who dare to fight teachers reflects the occurrence of serious disciplinary deviations in the world of education. This study aims to identify the factors causing this deviant behavior, as well as to analyze the role of teachers and parents in overcoming it. The method used is a literature study with a qualitative approach through content analysis of various relevant secondary sources. The results of the study indicate that behavior against teachers is influenced by internal factors such as students' personal character and traumatic experiences, as well as external factors such as family parenting patterns, peer influence, and exposure to negative content on social media. Disharmony in the socialization process and weak internalization of moral values ​​cause students to lose respect for the authority of teachers. In conclusion, synergy between teachers and parents is needed to strengthen character education in order to foster discipline, respect, and ethics in students.
