Abstract

Background : Dengue Hemorrhage Fever (DHF) is the largest disease caused by arboviruses. DHF often attacks preschool children, requiring the child to be in hospital to receive treatment and care until the child recovers. One of the treatments to reduce anxiety is lego play therapy. The lego game is a game in the form of mini-sized colorful plastic blocks that can be arranged into various shapes such as cars, houses, airplanes or robots. Objective: To describe and analyze the provision of distraction techniques through lego play therapy for DHF children with anxiety problems due to hospitalization. Methods: The research design is a descriptive design in the form of a case study. The research subjects used 2 people with the same criteria, namely preschool-aged Dengue Fever pediatric patients who experienced an anxiety nursing problem. This case study was conducted at the Bhayangkara M Hasan Palembang Hospital in 2024. Data collection techniques by means of interviews, observations, and filling out case study instruments for 3 days in the treatment room. Result: Nursing implementation provided in the form of distraction techniques playing lego shows a decrease in anxiety levels marked by verbalization of decreased confusion, verbalization of worry due to conditions faced decreased, restless behavior decreased, tense behavior decreased, concentration improved, sleep patterns improved.

Abstract

Gastroenteritis adalah suatu keadaan dimana seseorang buang air besar dengan konsisteni lembek atau cair bahkan dapat berupa air saja dan frekuensinya lebih sering (biasanya tiga kali atau lebih ) dalam satu hari. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan asuhan keperawatan dengan Gastroenteritis mulai dari pengumpulan data sampai evaluasi dengan menggunakan metode SOAP. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriftif dengan menggunakan studi kasus serta teknik analisa data ini menggunakan data subjektif dan data objektif. Instrumen pengumpulan data ini menggunakan format pengkajian asuhan keperawatan sesuai ketentuan yang berlaku. Hasil : Setelah mendapatkan data dari hasil pengkajian pada kedua keluarga pasien tersebut didapatkan diagnosa sebagai berikut : Diare, Hipovolemia, Defisit Nutris dari ketiga diagnosa tersebut semua masalah dapat teratasi. Kesimpulan : Dari kedua ibu pasien tersebut mampu melakukan cuci tangan secara mandiri.

Abstract

Hypertension is when a person experiences an increase in blood pressure above normal, or systolic pressure higher than 140 mmHg and diastolic pressure above 90 mmHg. Hypertension can cause headaches. One of the management techniques for headaches is non-pharmacological techniques, with slow stroke back massage (SSBM) therapy. This therapy is a massage action on the back with slow strokes. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the slow stroke back massage technique in reducing the level of head pain in hypertensive patients. This research uses a descriptive method with a case study approach during the slow stroke back massage (SSBM) technique to reduce headaches in hypertensive patients. After nursing care for 3 days, the results of the headache scale on the first day were 6-7, on the second day, the headache scale also decreased, and on the third day, it decreased to 2.
