Abstract

The role of strategic human resource management is the main key in changing company management to achieve competitive advantage. To make this happen, the Human Resources Manager (HR Manager) must be able to carry out the strategic role of HR and provide added value to the company so that competitive advantage can be achieved. However, not many new HR Manager roles have been implemented by mid-level companies, let alone small companies. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing and identifying the strategic role of HR Managers in anticipating current business competition, the strategic role of HR Managers, and using HR as a factor to create a company's competitive advantage. This research was conducted using qualitative methods in the mid-level hotel industry in the city of Pekanbaru. The underlying philosophical assumption is positivist. The data collection technique uses semi-structured interviews. Data analysis uses coding with NVivo International 10 software. The themes used are the role of the HR Manager in contributing to business competition and the strategic role of the HR Manager in creating the company's competitive advantage which is analyzed based on the number of coding references. The result was that there were three participants who had carried out strategic HR roles. Meanwhile, the HR theme as a factor in achieving a company's competitive advantage is analyzed based on a text search query which produces a word tree. The result is that HR is used as a factor to achieve the company's competitive advantage.

Abstract

This study was purposed to determine the development of sharia-based partnership patterns at the Al Faruqi Islamic Boarding School in Pekanbaru. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with samples of Entrepreneurship teachers and principals at Al-Faruqi Vocational School. This study concludes that there are 4 partners of the Al-Faruqi Islamic boarding school, namely the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia with a socio-religious pattern that provides grants for the construction of learning buildings and laboratories, then partnering with the Riau BI Representative with a socio-religious partnership pattern providing grants in the form of complete production facilities and infrastructure for cooking cakes and bakery as well as food and beverages to the halal certification process for each product, other assistance facilities are equipment to support fashion production. The social assistance provided by BI is carried out sustainably because the Al-Faruqi Islamic boarding school is able to process according to expectations and establish good relations.

Abstract

Mencapai tujuan pembangunan berkelanjutan atau SGDs, UMKM diharapkan menjadi garda terdepan. Ini karena usaha kecil dan menengah (UMKM) adalah salah satu bisnis yang paling mampu bertahan dalam kondisi ekonomi yang memburuk, terutama selama pandemi Covid-19. Oleh karena itu, agar UMKM dapat berkelanjutan, mereka harus memiliki pengelolaan keuangan yang baik. Salah satunya dengan memiliki pencatatan keuangan yang tepat dan kemampuan untuk membuat laporan keuangan yang diperlukan untuk membuat keputusan tentang strategi bisnis yang akan datang. Salah satu tantangan utama bagi usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM) untuk mengembangkan bisnis mereka secara berkelanjutan adalah menentukan harga yang tepat. Harga yang ditetapkan harus mencerminkan nilai produk, menutupi biaya produksi, menarik pelanggan, dan tetap profitabel. Keputusan harga yang lebih strategis dapat dibuat oleh pelaku UMKM untuk memastikan kepuasan pelanggan dan keuntungan bisnis. Salah satu kendala yang dihadapi paara pelaku UMKM adalah kurangnya pengetahuan tentang hal-hal keuangan, seperti penentuan Harga Pokok Produksi (HPP) sebagai dasar untuk menentukan harga jual produk.
