Abstract

Competition in the business world is becoming increasingly complex, especially in the rapidly growing mobile accessories industry. This study aims to analyze and optimize inventory management at Toko Acc RPH using the linear programming method. By considering market demand, production capacity, and profitability, this research applies the simplex method in linear programming to determine the optimal quantity of products to be stocked. The data used in this study includes inventory levels, selling prices, production quantities, and store demand. Analysis was conducted using QM for Windows software to obtain optimal stock distribution solutions. The results show that the store's inventory management strategy is efficient, ensuring that customers do not experience stock shortages despite limited inventory levels. Thus, the use of linear programming proves effective in optimizing inventory and improving operational efficiency.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat di Kelurahan Limau Sundai, Kecamatan Binjai Barat, Kota Binjai melalui program PIKK (Pembiasaan Ibadah dan Kebiasaan Keislaman) merupakan bentuk nyata penguatan pendidikan Islam berbasis pengalaman pada anak usia dini. Mahasiswa dari program studi PIAUD UIN Sumatera Utara turut ambil bagian sebagai pendamping dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai keislaman melalui berbagai kegiatan rutin, seperti pelaksanaan salat bersama, hafalan surah pendek, pembelajaran Al-Qur’an, wirid, dan aktivitas bernuansa islami lainnya. Rangkaian kegiatan tersebut dirancang untuk menstimulasi terbentuknya kebiasaan religius sekaligus memperkuat kesadaran spiritual anak-anak sejak dini. Pendekatan berbasis praktik ini terbukti lebih membekas, karena anak-anak tidak hanya mendapatkan pemahaman konsep, tetapi juga melatih langsung keterampilan beribadah mereka dalam situasi nyata. Evaluasi dari kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan dalam aspek religiositas, moral, dan semangat anak dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran. Selain itu, suasana lingkungan belajar pun menjadi lebih kondusif dan bernuansa keagamaan. Sinergi antara mahasiswa dan masyarakat setempat menjadi faktor pendukung utama dalam keberhasilan program ini, sekaligus memperkuat peran pendidikan agama sebagai fondasi pembentukan karakter anak.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to address environmental problems, emphasizing project-based learning, where participants are invited to solve real-world problems in their environment. The implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka (Independent Curriculum) offers a great opportunity to utilize the Project for Strengthening Pancasila Student Profiles (P5) as a platform to encourage student involvement in environmental issues. One tangible form of P5 implementation is through a project converting plastic waste into oil. The activity was conducted at SMA Negeri 5 Kota Lhokseumawe, employing the creative education method for plastic waste processing, including education and training for teachers and students, as well as project assignments for processing plastic waste through the pyrolysis process. The results of the community service activity showed that more than 80% of respondents rated the educational activities, such as material delivery, awareness-raising, and providing new insights on plastic waste processing, as excellent. Moreover, 95% expressed satisfaction with the implementation of the plastic waste processing project via the pyrolysis process, which successfully provided educational, technical, and motivational experiences to participants. Education and the plastic waste processing project have proven to offer practical solutions that not only enhance students' knowledge and skills but also drive behavioral and attitudinal changes toward the environment.
