Pembelajaran dikelas dapat berjalan dengan baik jika proses pembelajaran juga berjalan dengan baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aktivitas siswa terhadap penerapan media Word Square dalam pembelajaran kimia pada materi struktur atom, mengetahui hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan media Word Square pada materi struktur atom dan mengetahui respon siswa terhadap penerapan media Word Square dalam pembelajaran kimia pada materi struktur atom. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah lembar observasi, tes berupa pre-test dan post-test dan angket respon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Aktivitas belajar siswa terhadap penggunaan media pembelajaran word square pada materi struktur atom sangat baik, berturut-turut sebesar 79,17 dan 83,00. (2) Hasil belajar siswa terhadap penggunaan media pembelajaran word square pada materi struktur atom yaitu sebesar 92,59. (3) Respon siswa terhadap penggunaan media pembelajaran word square pada materi struktur atom sangat positif, yaitu sebesar 91,66 dan respon negatif yaitu sebesar 8,33.

The use of manufactured sand instead of natural sand in concrete can help preserve rivers or beaches where these natural sand is sourced from. The mechanical properties of these manufactured-sand concretes are comparable to those produced using natural sand. To predict and help optimize the mechanical properties of concrete made with manufactured sand, a model of ANN was developed using python 3.8 programming language in Google Colaboratory environtment. It was found that ANN model with LBFGS weight optimization algorithm and 50 hidden layer nodes has the best performance, with RMSE = 0.067081. The accuracy of prediction made with this model is calculated to be 90.58% by means of R-squared value and 95.37% by mean absolute error (MAE) value.

Kompor surya merupakan suatu perangkat yang digunakan untuk memasak atau memanaskan dengan memanfaatkan panas atau radiasi dari cahaya matahari sebagai sumber energi utamanya. Proyek ini dilakukan dengan tujuan: 1) membuat prototipe kompor surya tipe oven setengah silinder, dan 2) mengetahui performa (daya) prototipe kompor surya tipe oven setengah silinder melalui pengujian. Prototipe kompor surya tipe oven setengah silinder berhasil dibuat memiliki ukuran panjang 0,90 m, diamater 0,60 m, dan jari-jari 0,40 m dengan luas reflektor 1,1304 m2. Prototipe diuji cobakan dengan dipanaskan di bawah cahaya matahari langsung. Pengujian terhadap prototipe kompor surya tipe oven setengah silinder mampu manghasilkan performa (daya) rata-rata sebesar 140,73 x 10-3 kJ/s dan mencapai suhu maksimal sebesar 68oC dengan selang waktu paling cepat sebesar 80 menit.

Experiments have been carried out to study the refractive index of well water using the principle of refraction of a laser beam on a hollow prism. The Eksperimen telah dilakukan untuk mengkaji indeks bias air sumur dengan menggunakan prinsip pembiasan berkas laser pada prisma berongga. Sampel air yang digunakan adalah air sumur yang diambil dari tiga wilayah pesisir Aceh, yaitu Tibang, Uleelheue dan Kaju. Air diambil dari 3 sumber air yang berbeda untuk setiap wilayah wilayah tersebut. Pengukuran awal dilakukan pada aquades (air terdistilasi) untuk melihat keakuratan dari penggunaan prisma berongga yang terbuat dari kaca komersial. Sampel air dimasukkan kedalam prisma berongga yang terbuat dari kaca komersial dengan sudut apit 450. Berkas laser helium neon dengan panjang gelombang 564 nm diarahkan ke prisma berongga sehingga mengalami refraksi. Hasil pengukuran ditemukan bahwa indeks bias air yang diambil dari sumber air diwilayah pesisir memiliki indeks bias yang relatif tidak jauh berbeda. Hasil pegukuran pada sampel aquades diperoleh indeks bias 1,33, hasil tersebut sama dengan pengukuran dengan menggunakan alat refraktometer Abbe. Sementara pengukuran indeks bias air yang diambil dari tiga wilayah pesisir yaitu berkisar antara 1,341-1,349. Nilai indeks bias air juga dipengaruhi oleh tingkat kandungan mineral dan tingkat keasinan.

This study aims to determine the increase in students' understanding of concepts on various energy materials and their changes through the Learning Cycle 5E learning model assisted by Learning Animation Videos. This study used a mixed method or mix methods type of concurrent embedded (unbalanced mixture), with a pretest-posttest control group design research design. Sampling technique with simple random sampling technique, the sample of this study was class X TKJ 2 students as an experimental class and class X DPIB as a control class with the number of each class was 20 students. The average N-Gain score for the control class was 0.37 including the medium category. The N-Gain score for the experimental class is 0.7 including the high category. The results of this study show that the application of the Learning Cycle 5E model assisted by learning animation videos can improve the understanding of the concepts of grade X students on various materials

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang bertujuan: 1) untuk mengetahui kelayakan LKPD fisika berbasis Inkuiri Terbimbing pada materi Hukum Newton; 2) untuk mengetahui meningkatnya hasil belajar peserta didik setelah menggunakan LKPD berbasis Inkuiri Terbimbing. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan atau research and development (R & D) dengan model ADDIE. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XI IPA 1 yang berjumlah 27 orang, yang berlokasi disalah satu sekolah yang ada di Aceh Utara. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan untuk menganalisis masing-masing data adalah nilai kualitatif dan kuantitatif dari hasil validasi LKPD dan respons peserta didik. Hasil penelitian yang didapat adalah: 1) persentase kelayakan pengembangan LKPD yang didapat dari validator ahli materi sebesar 84,59% dengan kriteria sangat layak, dan persentase yang didapat dari validator ahli media sebesar 83,33% dengan kriteria sangat layak, serta persentase yang didapat dari validator ahli guru sebesar 91,17% dengan kriteria sangat layak; 2) hasil respons siswa pada uji coba pemakaian didapatkan persentase sebesar 83,75% dengan kriteria sangat menarik; 3) LKPD fisika berbasis Inkuiri Terbimbing dinyatakan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik dengan nilai N-Gain sebesar 0.64 dengan kriteria “sedang”. Maka dapat disimpulan LKPD fisika berbasis Inkuiri terbimbing dapat digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.

This research aims to find the optimal weight optimization algorithm and number of hidden nodes that can be used in Artificial Neural Network to predict mechanical properties (density and compressive strength) of Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC) lightweight brick. The dataset is obtained from secondary source, with a total of 51 data points. From this dataset, the relationship between constituent elements of AAC with its density and compressive strength is modeled using ANN. It was found that the best weight optimization algorithm that can be used for this dataset is the LBFGS (Limited-memory Broyden–Fletcher–Goldfarb–Shanno) algorithm. The optimum hidden layer node is found to be 90 nodes. With this parameters, the ANN can predict density and compressive strength of AAC lightweight brick with accuracy of 93.51% and margin of error around 6.49%. The accuracy of the prediction can be improved by appending the dataset with data points from secondary sources or by doing more experiments and tests.

This type of research is a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design in the form of a nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sampling technique was purposive sampling with a sample size of 50 students, namely 25 students from class XI-MIA1 as the control class and 25 students from class XI-MIA2 as the experimental class. The data collection instrument uses multiple choice questions. Meanwhile, data analysis uses prerequisite tests which include normality and homogeneity tests, hypothesis tests and N-gain tests.The results showed that the average posttest score for the experiment was 82.20 and the average posttest score for the control class was 76.20. Based on the results of hypothesis testing using parametric tests, namely the independent t-test, sig results were obtained. (2-tailed) of 0.026 < 0.05, meaning that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted or there is an influence of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by the Quizizz application on student learning outcomes. Meanwhile, the average N-Gain score for the experimental class is 0.72, which is in the high category. So it can be concluded that there has been an increase in student learning outcomes in the experimental class which implemented the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by the Quizzizz application.

Purpose-The implementation of web-based virtual laboratories in physics education has significant potential to enhance students' scientific process skills and conceptual understanding of physics. The objectives of this study are: (1) to analyze the impact of implementing an interactive web-based virtual laboratory in activitiy physics learning, and (2) to describe students' perceptions of the use of this virtual laboratory.Methodology-The research design follows a pre-experimental method with a one-shot case study approach. The population consisted of all twelfth-grade students, distributed across four classes with consisting of 24 students for the samples. Observations of students’ scientific process skills were conducted to assess the intervention's impact. A questionnaire was administered after the learning session to measure students’ SPS activities before and after the intervention.Findings—The results of the observational data analysis on scientific process skills revealed an average activity percentage of 90.3%, indicating that the interactive web-based virtual laboratory is highly effective in supporting virtual practical-based learning. Additionally, the analysis of students' perceptions showed an average perception score of 86.42%, categorized as "very good."Significance– These findings suggest that virtual laboratories can serve as an innovative solution in physics education. However, improvements in operational aspects are still necessary to overcome existing challenges.Keywords: Virtual laboratory Student activities Perception Physics learning Website

One of the characteristics of the 2013 curriculum is balancing the spiritual abilities of students. In the 2013 curriculum there are four core competencies as standard benchmarks for the success of the learning process. The spiritual aspect in the K-13 curriculum is placed as the first aspect in core competencies. This shows that the spiritual aspect is very important to pay attention to. Therefore, the integration of spiritual attitudes really needs to be conveyed by the teacher. Teachers are required to be more creative in planning and implementing learning so that spiritual balancing and Islamic values are well represented in the learning process. This can be realized one way by integrating the verses of the Qur'an into learning media. Based on the results of interviews at MTsN 9 Bireuen, it shows that there is no physics learning media integrated with the Qur'an. This study aims to develop magazine learning media that are valid, practical and can improve student learning outcomes. This research is R&D with the ADDIE model. The results showed that the validity level of the magazine was in the very valid category, practicality with the very practical category, while for improving the cognitive learning outcomes of students in the experimental class, the results of the N-Gain test were obtained with a value of 0.57 in the "medium" category, and in the control class the results were 0.21 category of 'low'.
