Abstract

The research examines the Bikers subuhan community where in carrying out motorized hobbies there is a value of benefits ranging from time, energy and so on by inviting to go to morning prayers in congregation through the hobby method, namely motoring. The method in this research used a qualitative approach. Data collection in scientific article research by interview, observation, and literature study. As for the object of this research, the author seeks to explore the messages of how hobbies have worship value in the Subuhan Bikers community in Yogyakarta City. Thus, the results of this study in its implications have an important role, this community dismisses the perspective on the bikers community which is seen as negative, then with the presence of subuhan bikers dismisses that not all motorcycle communities are far from usefulness but there are motorcycle communities that actually have the value of worship.

Abstract

Indonesia as a multicultural country often faces challenges in maintaining religious harmony. Conflicts between religious communities are often triggered by misunderstandings, fanaticism, and a lack of understanding of the teachings of tolerance in the Qur'an. This research aims to identify the verses of the Qur'an that contain the values of tolerance by analyzing the maqashid of these verses, then examining their implementation in conflict resolution. This research uses a qualitative method based on literature studies, this research examines verses such as QS. al-Hujurat: 13, QS. al-Baqarah: 256, and QS. al-An'am: 108 to explore the main message contained in the verse. The results of the study show that the Qur'an encourages mutual knowledge, religious freedom, and ethics in dialogue between religious communities. The maqashid of these verses emphasizes the importance of safeguarding religion, the soul, and the honor of man. The contextual application of the Qur'an's values of tolerance can be an effective strategy in preventing conflict and building a harmonious life in the midst of diversity.

Abstract

Pembacaan pada teks-teks tafsir yang kuno dewasa ini semakin ditinggalkan, hal tersebut berkenaan dengan konteks yang berbeda jauh antara zaman terdahulu dengan sekarang. Gerakan terbaru Muhammadiyah dengan tafsir At-tanwir setidaknya mampu memberikan solusi. Di antara respons kekinian yang Muhammadiyah berikan ialah kisah Jalut dan Talut. Penelitian ini memiliki fokus bahasan pada kisah tersebut yang termaktub dalam surah Al-Baqarah ayat 246-252 dengan mendalami tafsir-tafsir rentang periode klasik, pertengahan, hingga modern. Kemudian bagaimana respons tafsir At-tanwir dengan surah Al-Baqarah ayat 246-252 ini. Metode penyusunan penelitian ini menggunakan konten analisis yang didapat melalui pengumpulan tafsir dari masa klasik hingga modern, lalu direduksi kepada fokus bahasan terkait dan menganalisis serta menyimpulkan berdasarkan hasil temuan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tafsir At-tanwir cukup memberi pintu pembuka pembacaan tafsir secara kontekstual yang sejalan dengan zamannya. Kisah Jalut dan Talut dalam tafsir At-tanwir dijadikan peringatan untuk mewaspadai bahayanya penyalahgunaan fasilitas. Dengan begitu, semestinya bagi pembaca secara individu maupun golongan mampu menghindari perilaku penyalahgunaan fasilitas.
