Abstract

This research aims to explore the implementation of Project-Based Learning (PBL) in the Merdeka Curriculum and its impact on students' speaking skills. Using a qualitative approach, this study involves observation, interviews, and document analysis to collect data from eighth-grade students at SMP Maulana Yusuf. The results indicate that PBL significantly improves students' speaking abilities while promoting essential 21st-century skills like teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving. PBL encourages an interactive and engaging learning environment, motivating students to participate and share their ideas confidently and actively. Challenges such as varying students' speaking proficiency levels highlight the need for adaptive teaching strategies to ensure inclusivity. Educators should address diverse learning needs by employing differentiated instruction and providing additional support to students with lower proficiency levels. This research underscores the significant role of PBL in creating a student-centered learning environment that aligns with the goals of the Merdeka Curriculum, which prioritizes independent and active learning. To maximize the benefits of PBL, it is recommended that educators engage in ongoing professional development, design contextually appropriate projects, and foster collaboration with colleagues to refine teaching methods, overcome challenges, and harness PBL's full potential to enhance language skills and support students' comprehensive development.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of Montessori education on children's English-speaking skills at the FL HAUS INSTITUTE, Serang City. Grounded in early childhood language acquisition theory, the research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, collecting data through observations and interviews with young learners and their parents. The findings suggest that Montessori learning promotes language development by creating an interactive and engaging environment, thereby enhancing children's confidence and communication skills. The study highlights the critical role of parents and teachers in supporting early language growth through structured Montessori activities. Additionally, it contributes to the refinement of Montessori curricula by emphasizing the integration of well-designed oral communication exercises. The research highlights the effectiveness of a child-centered learning approach in enhancing English proficiency, underscoring the importance of Montessori education in early childhood development and its broader implications for language learning methodologies.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the role of the Community Service Program (KKN) as a legal education instrument for the protection of women’s rights in Margaluyu Village. The research applied a descriptive qualitative method with data collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation during the KKN activities. The findings reveal that the women and children empowerment program conducted through KKN effectively improved community understanding of women’s rights, including protection from violence, rights within the household, and access to education and employment. The high level of community participation demonstrates the effectiveness of participatory methods, although several challenges remain, such as limited program duration, low legal literacy among some residents, and patriarchal cultural resistance. The implications highlight that KKN can serve as a strategic tool to strengthen legal awareness in the community, and should be further developed through sustainable collaboration with local legal institutions and village authorities. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) sebagai instrumen edukasi hukum dalam perlindungan hak-hak perempuan di Kelurahan Margaluyu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi selama kegiatan KKN berlangsung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program sosialisasi pemberdayaan perempuan dan anak yang dilakukan dalam KKN mampu meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat mengenai hak-hak perempuan, termasuk perlindungan dari kekerasan, hak dalam rumah tangga, serta hak atas pendidikan dan pekerjaan. Partisipasi masyarakat yang cukup tinggi memperlihatkan efektivitas metode partisipatif yang digunakan, meskipun masih terdapat hambatan berupa keterbatasan waktu pelaksanaan, rendahnya literasi hukum sebagian warga, dan resistensi budaya patriarki. Implikasi penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa KKN dapat menjadi sarana strategis dalam meningkatkan kesadaran hukum masyarakat, dan ke depan perlu diperkuat melalui kolaborasi berkelanjutan dengan lembaga hukum lokal maupun pemerintah desa Kata Kunci: KKN, Edukasi Hukum, Pemberdayaan Perempuan, Perlindungan Hak, Margaluyu.

Abstract

Kondisi ekonomi masyarakat di kelurahan Margaluyu masih didominasi oleh sektor pertanian, sehingga jumlah pelaku UMKM relatif terbatas. sebagian besar pelaku usaha masih menghadapi tantangan dalam menerima digitalisasi. Melihat kondisi tersebut, dapat dipahami bahwa penguatan literasi keuangan dan pengenalan digitalisasi UMKM merupakan langkah strategis dalam mendorong pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat Desa Margaluyu. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif, yaitu penelitian yang berupaya menggambarkan secara mendalam fenomena yang terjadi di lapangan terkait pengenalan literasi keuangan dan digitalisasi pada pelaku UMKM di Kelurahan Margaluyu. Hasil kegiatan menunjukan perbedaan tingkat penerimaan terhadap digitalisasi antar wilayah. Pada area yang lebih padat penduduk dengan kondisi infrastruktur jalan yang lebih baik, jumlah UMKM lebih banyak dan sikap masyarakat cenderung lebih koperatif. Upaya sosialisasi yang dilakukan secara door to door memberikan hasil yang cukup positif. hal ini menjadi langkah awal yang penting dalam membangun kesadaran masyarakat mengenai manfaat digitalisasi.
