Abstract

BP Ma'arif NU Assa'adah Junior High School is one of the schools that organizes the Islamic Boarding School-Based (SBP) program. In 2009, the Education Office appointed BP Ma'arif NU Assa'adah Junior High School to organize the SBP program, citing the school's readiness and its status as an Islamic boarding school. The focus of this research is the implementation of pesantren-based school education at BP Ma'arif NU Assa'adah Bungah Gresik Junior High School and efforts to improve the quality of pesantren-based school education at BP Ma'arif NU Assa'adah Bungah Gresik Junior High School. This research is qualitative in nature and employs a case study approach. The data collection techniques used in this study are participant observation, unstructured in-depth interviews, and documentation. The study's results demonstrate the development of several aspects of the SBP program at BP Ma'arif NU Assa'adah Junior High School, including curriculum development, facility and infrastructure improvements, human resource (HR) enhancements for both teachers and educators, education personnel, and students, and the enhancement of religious (spiritual) activities. Meanwhile, the focus of efforts to enhance the quality of education through SBP is on developing the curriculum, enhancing the quality of students, and improving the quality of teachers. The theoretical implications show that the Islamic Boarding School-Based Program will be considered good if it is able to integrate the school education system with the Islamic boarding school education system well, which will ultimately create educational outputs with character.

Abstract

With the flow of rational-religious philosophy, of course, thinkers in conceptualizing an education cannot escape the role of religion and reason. The leaders of the adherents of this school are Ibn Miskawaih and Ibn Sina, this research is certainly made as a starting point to see the differences between the two. This research is library . The primary data in this study is a journal about the thoughts of Ibn Miskawaih and Ibn Shina. In this study, the researcher used content analysis in a descriptive form. The results of this study are: In terms of goals, the two figures proclaimed character-based goals. Ibn Miskawaih proclaimed character-based cognitive goals, then Ibn Sina proclaimed character-based Psychomotor goals. In terms of material, both provide religious material and worldly material, but Ibn Sina is more adapting the material to be given to the psychology of students. From the aspect of the method, the two figures have similarities in providing methods, namely in providing role models and providing a good environment from an early age, but the method used by Ibn Sina focuses more on student/psychomotor skills that does not leave affective, while Ibn Miskawaih focuses on affective. which does not leave cognitive. In terms of evaluation, Ibn Miskawaih's standard provides more detailed standards for student achievement than Ibn Sina's

Abstract

The plurality of Indonesian society cannot be separated from the state system that will be used. With a democratic system based on Pancasila, it will greatly minimize friction between tribes and religions. However, the challenge to democracy in Indonesia is the groups who are against democracy. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach. This research is in the form of library research from the study of the character's thinking. The researcher uses Content Analysis technique by recording factual information and includes a detailed and accurate description of various dimensions related to all aspects studied. So, in this study, the researcher described the results by taking materials that were appropriate to the problem, then the data were analyzed, combined, and concluded. Islam and Democracy cannot be separated from one another, because the values ​​of Islamic teachings are contained in the foundation of the Indonesian state, namely Pancasila. As for the efforts that can be made, of course there must be prevention efforts from the government and from among students and students. The government's efforts that can be done, of course, must be combing and mapping which groups are included in the fundamentalists with mutual consolidation on the part of the government and the fundamentalists. As for the efforts of the students, of course, to educate the general public about the dangers of anarchism and textualism to democracy in Indonesian society. Likewise, santri, they must be able to preach in a polite manner and provide education about the values ​​of Islamic teachings.
