Abstract

The development of technology and the ease of using artificial intelligence in educational activities are things that must be adjusted to the conditions of practitioners in the field. This study aims to determine the perceptions of elementary school teachers about the use of artificial intelligence in learning. The study was conducted using a qualitative descriptive method on 75 elementary school teachers in Purworejo Regency. Data collection was carried out using a closed questionnaire and Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Data analysis used a descriptive quantitative approach. The results of the findings showed that the highest factor was control beliefs, namely the aspect of teacher self-efficacy towards the use of AI, but teachers were also aware of the lack of digital competence they had. The six aspects that are indicators of the three TPB factors are at high values so that it is known that there is a positive intention of teachers regarding the use of AI in learning. However, it is also known that there is a contradiction, namely the high belief of teachers in the use of AI but the existence of digital competence, especially in the use of AI that has not been maximized. The aspect of basic knowledge that represents behavioural beliefs needs more intensive attention from related parties and further researchers.

Abstract

This study aim to describe the results of the analysis of teaching materials in 5th grades of elementary school, especially for the content of social studies subject, the economic activity sub-material. The research method used is a type of qualitative research with a descriptive qualitative research approach. The type of data used is qualitative data obtained from the responses of teacher as user of teaching materials, as well as observational studies of the school curriculum and documents of teaching materials used. Data collection techniques in this study used three techniques to obtain data, namely interview, observation and documentation techniques. the research instrument used is a list of structured questions related to research. The procedure for this research is divided into three stages including the preparation stage, the kalitengkek elementary schools in purworejo regency in accordance with the curriculum and learning objectives. The material is presented based on integrated thematic approach. In general, the presentation of social studies material especially on economic activity, is still lacking in accommodating students to have the ability to build economic activity concept from beginning and does not support the development of student economic activity skills. In addition, through the analysis of special social studies teaching materials, this economic activity can provide a reference for school and teachers to be able to further improve the quality of teaching materials by paying attention to learning aspects and the needs of students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hasil analisis bahan ajar di kelas lima sekolah dasar khususnya untuk muatan mata pelajaran ilmu pengetahuan sosial sub materi peran ekonomi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Jenis data yang digunakan yaitu data kualitatif yang diperoleh dari tanggapan guru sebagai pengguna bahan ajar, serta studi observasi terhadap kurikulum sekolah dan dokumen bahan ajar yang digunakan. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tiga Teknik untuk memperoleh data yaitu Teknik wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Instrument penelitian yang digunakan adalah daftar pertanyaan terstruktur yang berkaitan dengan penelitian. Adapun prosedur penelitian ini dibagi menjadi tiga tahapan diantaranya tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan dan hasil temuan. Dalam penelitian ini diperoleh hasil bahwa bahan ajar yang digunakan untuk kelas lima sekolah dasar kalitengkek kabupaten purworejo sudah sesuai dengan kurikulum dan tujuan pembelajaran. Materi disajikan dengan berdasarkan pendekatan tematik terpadu. Secara umum penyajian materi ilmu pengetahuan sosial khususnya pada pokok bahasan kegiatan ekonomi sejak awal kurang mendukung pengembangan ketrampilan aktivitas ekonomi peserta didik. Selain itu, melalui analisis bahan ajar ilmu pengetahuan sosial khusus materi aktivitas ekonomi dapat memberikan acuan bagi pihak sekolah maupun guru untuk dapat lebih meningkatkan kualitas bahan ajar dengan memperhatikan aspek-aspek pembelajaran dan kebutuhan peserta didik.
