<![CDATA[Background: Dpt-Hb immunization is a combination vaccine given to protect the body from diphtheria, pertussis, tetanus, and hepatitis B infections. After Dpt-Hb immunization, babies usually experience fever that lasts 1-2 days, accompanied by pain in the injection area and the baby is a little fussy. Aloe vera compress therapy is chosen because it has 95% water content which has saponin and lignin compounds that can be used to reduce fever through the body's heat absorption mechanism. Purpose: To determine whether there is an effect of giving aloe vera compresses on reducing the body temperature of babies after Dpt-Hb immunization. Methods: This study was conducted using a pre-experimental method with a one group pretest-posttest design. Sampling using accidental sampling technique with 24 participants. The intervention was carried out by giving aloe vera compresses for 15 minutes, measuring body temperature using a thermometer. Data analysis used the Wilcoxon statistical test. Results: There was a decrease in body temperature in participants after aloe vera compress was given. The results of the analysis using the Wilcoxon Sign Rank test obtained a p value = 0.000 where (a = <0.05) Conclusion: There is an effect of giving aloe vera compresses on reducing the body temperature of infants after Dpt-Hb immunization in the working area of the Seputih Raman Health Center, Central Lampung. Pendahuluan: Imunisasi Dpt-Hb merupakan vaksin kombinasi yang diberikan untuk melindungi tubuh dari infeksi difteri, pertusis, tetanus, dan hepatitis B. Pasca imunisasi Dpt- Hb biasanya bayi mengalami demam yang berlangsung 1-2 hari, disertai rasa sakit di daerah suntikan dan bayi sedikit rewel. Terapi kompres lidah buaya (aloe vera) dipilih karena memiliki 95% kandungan air yang memiliki senyawa saponin dan lignin yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk menurunkan demam melalui mekanisme penyerapan panas tubuh. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh pemberian kompres lidah buaya (aloe vera) terhadap penurunan suhu tubuh bayi pasca imunisasi Dpt-Hb. Metode: Penelitian yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode pre eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest-posttest design. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik accidental sampling dengan 24 partisipan. Intervensi yang dilakukan dengan memberikan kompres lidah buaya (aloe vera) selama 15 menit, pengukuran suhu tubuh menggunakan termometer. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu uji statistik Wilcoxon. Hasil: Terdapat penurunan suhu tubuh pada partisipan setelah dilakukan pemberian kompres lidah buaya (aloe vera). Hasil analisis dengan menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Sign Rank didapatkan nilai p value = 0.000 dimana (a= <0.05).
