Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of patient safety culture on patient safety performance at Fatmawati Central General Hospital Jakarta. Patient safety culture is examined through three key dimensions: safety culture at the management level, safety culture at the unit level, and the outcome of safety culture. The research employs a mixed methods approach using a sequential explanatory model, which combines quantitative and qualitative analysis. The quantitative data were collected through a survey involving 83 nurses selected using proportional random sampling. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS version 17. In the qualitative phase, in-depth interviews were conducted with selected informants to deepen the understanding of the quantitative findings. The results of the study show that all three independent variables have a significant positive effect on patient safety performance, with significance values below 0.05. The outcome dimension shows the strongest influence, indicating that incident reporting and safety awareness are crucial to improving performance. The coefficient of determination (R²) is 0.424, meaning that 42.4% of the variation in patient safety performance is explained by the model. In conclusion, strengthening patient safety culture—through leadership support, unit-level collaboration, and outcome monitoring—plays a vital role in enhancing patient safety and service quality in hospital environments.

Abstract

This community service program aimed to improve public health awareness and access to medical services in Malingping District, Lebak, Banten—an area facing significant barriers to healthcare due to its remote location and limited infrastructure. The program included health education, free medical treatment, and social outreach activities. Educational sessions raised awareness about healthy living, hygiene, and disease prevention, while medical services offered free consultations, blood pressure and glucose screenings, and basic medication. Additionally, the distribution of food packages and hygiene kits provided immediate relief to underprivileged families. The program successfully served over 500 residents and engaged local stakeholders and health professionals. The outcomes demonstrated increased health knowledge, early detection of chronic conditions, and strengthened community resilience. Abstract

This community service activity aimed to enhance the knowledge and awareness of menopausal health among housewives in the Green Serpong 2 residential area. The program was conducted through interactive health education, group discussions, and participatory counseling sessions. Many women experience menopause without adequate understanding of the physical and psychological changes that accompany it, which can lead to anxiety and mismanagement of symptoms. Through this activity, participants were guided to recognize the characteristics of menopause, differentiate it from pathological conditions, and adopt a healthy coping strategy. The approach emphasized emotional support, scientific understanding, and open communication within a safe and familiar community environment. The outcomes showed improved participant awareness and readiness to face the menopausal phase with confidence and positivity. This initiative highlights the effectiveness of community-based health education in addressing women's health issues and recommends further implementation of similar programs on a broader scale with support from local health institutions.
