Abstract

Abstrak Usaha Suweg Lapis Genggong yang bertempat di Jalan. Raya Condong, Desa Kapasan, Kecamatan Pajarakan, Kabupaten Probolinggo ini, merupakan produk pangan tradisional berbasis umbian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi pengembangan dan daya saing usaha Suweg Lapis Genggong dalam perspektif Maqhashid Syariah guna menghadapi persaingan pasar. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Suweg Lapis Genggong memiliki potensi daya saing yang kuat, namun masih menghadapi beberapa tantangan dalam pemasaran dan inovasi produk. Implementasi Maqhashid Syariah dalam usaha ini meliputi aspek pemeliharaan harta (hifz al-mal) melalui transparansi bisnis dan harga yang adil, serta pemeliharaan jiwa (hifz an-nafs) dengan memastikan produk yang halal dan sehat. Strategi yang dapat diterapkan meliputi peningkatan inovasi produk, pemasaran digital, dan optimalisasi rantai distribusi. Kesimpulannya, penerapan prinsip Maqhashid Syariah dapat meningkatkan daya saing usaha dan mendukung keberlanjutan bisnis dalam jangka panjang. Kata Kunci: Daya Saing, Pengembangan Usaha, Maqhashid Syariah, Persaingan Pasar, Pemasaran Digital Abstract The Suweg Lapis Genggong business, located on Jalan Raya Condong, Kapasan Village, Pajarakan District, Probolinggo Regency, is a traditional food product based on tubers. This study aims to analyze the development strategy and competitiveness of the Suweg Lapis Genggong business from the perspective of Maqhashid Syariah to face market competition. The research approach used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research findings indicate that Suweg Lapis Genggong has strong competitive potential but still faces several challenges in marketing and product innovation. The implementation of Maqhashid Syariah in this business includes the aspect of wealth preservation (hifz al-mal) through business transparency and fair pricing, as well as the preservation of life (hifz an-nafs) by ensuring that the product is halal and healthy. Strategies that can be implemented include product innovation improvement, digital marketing, and optimization of the distribution chain. In conclusion, applying Maqhashid Syariah principles can enhance business competitiveness and support long-term business sustainability. Abstract

Abstrak Investasi emas menjadi pilihan yang banyak diminati dalam perencanaan keuangan jangka panjang karena harganya yang cenderung stabil dan mengalami peningkatan waktu. Pegadaian Syariah Probolinggo menyediakan produk tabungan emas yang memudahkan masyarakat untuk menabung emas secara bertahap, namun tidak semua nasabah memiliki pemahaman yang baik mengenai strategi keuangan jangka panjang dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif melalui studi kasus, di mana data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dengan 10 orang Nasabah serta 3 Pegawai Pegadaian Syariah Probolinggo. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nasabah memiliki beragam pola dalam mengelola tabungan emas, seperti menabung secara rutin, membeli emas saat harga turun, serta menjedikannya sebagai dana darurat. Tantangan utama yang dihadapi adalah kurangnya pemahaman megenai waktu yang tepat untuk membeli dan mencairkan emas. Oleh karena itu, di perlukan edukasi lebih lanjut agar nasabah dapat memaksimalkan manfaat tabungan emas dalam perencanaan keuangan mereka. Kata Kunci: Tabungan emas, edukasi nasabah, investasi emas, perencanaan keuangan, strategi keuangan.   Abstract Gold investment is a popular choice in long-term financial planning because its price tends to stabilize and increase over time. Pegadaian Syariah Probolinggo provides gold savings products that make it easy for people to save gold gradually, but not all customers have a good understanding of long-term financial strategies using qualitative methods through case studies, where data is collected through interviews with 10 customers and 3 employees of Pegadaian Syariah Probolinggo. The results showed that customers have various patterns in managing gold savings, such as saving regularly, buying gold when the price drops, and using it as an emergency fund. The main challenge faced is the lack of understanding about the right time to buy and cash out gold. Therefore, further education is needed so that customers can maximize the benefits of gold savings in their financial planning. Abstract

This study investigates the implementation and evaluation of financial risk management strategies at Batik Ronggomukti, a creative micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) located in Kraksaan District, Probolinggo. The research highligh key financial risk faced by the enterprise, including raw material price volatility, market uncertainty, and limited working capital. Employing a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews and direct field observations. The findings reveal that Batik Ronggomukti adopts practical and contextually adaptive risk management strategies, such as product diversification to reduce market dependency, manual financial record-keeping for monitoring cash flows, cost efficiency in production processes, and partnership-based financing to avoid high-interest loans. These approaches have contributed to improved operational performance, enhanced cash flows stability, and stronger business resilience against external shocks. However, the current risk management system remains largely informal, with no standardized documentation or quantitative analysis to support decision-making. Evaluation methods are still based on intuition and personal experience, lacking measurable indicators to assess effectiveness. This indicates the need for formal training and the adoption of digital financial tools to strengthen managerial capabilities and risk mitigation. The study concludes by recommending institutional support and collaboration ith government bodies or academic institutions to promote a more sustainable and structured financial risk management framework for MSMEs, ensuring their long-term viability in a dynamic economic environment.
