Abstract

Background: Patient safety culture is the fundamental in implementing patient safety at hospitals. Every hospital must guarantee the implementation of patient safety in the health services. Objective: The study aimed to examine the effect of transformational leadership style and mentoring function on patient safety culture which is moderated by the competence of nurses in the hospital. Method: This research method was conducted using a quantitative survey with a cross-sectional study approach. A total of 57 samples were involved in this study. The data analysis method used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis. Result: The results of the study show that there is a positive and significant influence of transformational leadership on patient safety culture. The mentoring function has no significant effect on patient safety culture. Nurse competence has not been able to moderate the effect of Transformational Leadership on Patient Safety Culture, and nurse competence has not been able to moderate the influence of the Mentoring Function on Patient Safety Culture. Conclusion: The greatest coefficient value in this study is the effect of transformational leadership on patient safety culture moderated by nurse competence by 45.4%

Abstract

Layanan rekam medis merupakan salah satu layanan minimal yang wajib disediakan oleh klinik untuk menunjang kualitas layanan kesehatan. Unit Rekam Medis berperan sebagai gerbang terdepan dalam layanan klinik, sehingga dapat menjadi salah satu indikator kepuasan pasien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan antara mutu layanan rekam medis dengan kepuasan pasien rawat jalan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah korelasional dengan rancangan cross-sectional. Populasi penelitian adalah pasien di Klinik Panti Swasti, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 100 orang yang diambil menggunakan non-probability sampling jenis purposive sampling berdasarkan rumus Slovin. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 77% responden menilai mutu layanan rekam medis dalam kategori cukup, sementara 82% responden menyatakan puas terhadap layanan rekam medis. Terdapat hubungan signifikan antara mutu layanan rekam medis dengan kepuasan pasien rawat jalan (p = 0,0001). Dimensi Empathy dan Responsiveness terbukti berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan pasien. Simpulan penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa perbaikan mutu layanan rekam medis yang berfokus pada kepuasan pasien memerlukan perbaikan sistem, prosedur, budaya pelayanan, serta peningkatan komunikasi interpersonal di kalangan petugas klinik.
