Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of social media multiplatforms in marketing Barokah Tourism Village located in Dukuh Pakel, Gerdu Village, Karangpandan District, Karanganyar Regency. Barokah Tourism Village has great potential to become a leading tourist destination. This research uses qualitative methods and collects data through observation, as well as content analysis of various social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. The results show that the use of social media multiplatforms can expand marketing reach, with each platform having its own role and advantages in attracting different audiences. Instagram is effective for attracting a visual audience, Facebook provides more in-depth information, while YouTube is used to present more detailed video content. In addition, a content strategy that focuses on visualizing the activities, activities and local culture that are offered attractively in the tourism village has proven to be effective in attracting audience attention. This study also found that consistency in managing content and interaction with audiences is essential to increase engagement and brand awareness. Based on these findings, it is recommended that the manager of Barokah Tourism Village continue to optimize the use of social media multiplatforms by paying attention to the characteristics of each platform and increasing active interaction with audiences to increase tourist visits.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the understanding and skills of Kampung Wisata Barokah social media managers in utilizing social media as an effective promotional tool. Social media has proven to be an efficient platform for reaching a wider audience at low cost, especially in the tourism sector. Although Kampung Wisata Barokah has great potential, its social media management is still suboptimal due to the limited knowledge and skills of its managers. Through a participatory approach, the community service team conducted a workshop consisting of three stages: preparation, implementation, and reflection. The training covered creative content creation, understanding social media platform features, and digital marketing strategies. Evaluation results using pre-tests and post-tests showed a significant increase in participants' understanding, from an average of 40% to 100% after the training. The workshop not only provided theoretical knowledge but also practical skills that could be directly applied in promoting tourist destinations. It is hoped that the social media managers of Kampung Wisata Barokah can utilize social media optimally to increase tourist visits and empower the local economy.

Abstract

Rendahnya minat pelajar bahkan masyarakat terkait sejarah dibuktikan dengan riset yang dilakukan oleh Ulandari dalam Risalah Kebijakan Kemendikbud Tahun 2021, sebanyak 51% siswa mengaku tidak mengikuti sejarah dan 77% siswa menyatakan tidak aktif dalam pelajaran sejarah di lingkup SMA. Hal tersebut diperparah dengan arus globalisasi yang terus meningkat di lingkungan masyarakat urban. Berkurangnya pemahaman dan rendahnya minat sejarah pada masyarakat dari suatu bangsa bahkan negara akan mempengaruhi pemahaman dan penghargaan terhadap prinsip-prinsip demokrasi (Wineburg, 2019). Salah satu solusi dalam meningkatkan pembelajaran akan sejarah secara menyenangkan yaitu melalui pengalaman nyata dengan terjun ke lapangan atau mengunjungi tempat-tempat bersejarah secara langsung. Disampaikan melalui Risalah Kebijakan Kemendikbud (2021) yang menggarisbawahi pentingnya pembelajaran sejarah lokal dan keterlibatan komunitas sejarah untuk mengembalikan ketertarikan masyarakat terutama generasi muda terhadap sejarah. Adapun salah satu komunitas sejarah yang melakukan kegiatan jelajah sejarah di Kota Surakarta adalah Soerakarta Walking Tour. Soerakarta Walking Tour ini mulai ramai diminati oleh kalangan masyarakat ketika era pasca pandemi melalui laman media sosialnya. Kegiatan Soerakarta Walking Tour yang dibagikan di media sosialnya banyak menarik para wisatawan untuk melakukan atau mengikuti kegiatan jalan-jalan belajar sejarah di beberapa titik Kota Surakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif serta studi kepustakaan. Upaya penelitian ini untuk memperlihatkan terdapat kolaborasi pembelajaran sejarah menggunakan e-wom communication melalui Soerakarta Walking Tour yang membantu meningkatkan ketertarikan akan sejarah terutama sejarah Kota Surakarta.
