Abstract

Pendidikan karakter merupakan salah satu aspek penting dalam pembentukan kepribadian dan moral peserta didik. Melalui pendidikan yang terencana dan terarah, pembentukan karakter yang baik dapat menjadi fondasi bagi terciptanya individu yang berintegritas, beretika, dan bertanggung jawab. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji strategi pengembangan karakter yang efektif dalam lingkungan pendidikan, baik formal maupun nonformal. Metode yang digunakan meliputi studi literatur dan analisis implementasi program pendidikan karakter di berbagai institusi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis keteladanan, pembiasaan, dan integrasi nilai-nilai moral dalam kurikulum mampu memberikan dampak positif terhadap perkembangan karakter peserta didik. Oleh karena itu, kolaborasi antara pendidik, orang tua, dan lingkungan menjadi faktor pendukung utama dalam mewujudkan pendidikan karakter yang efektif dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

In general, Islam came to the archipelago because it was brought by traders from various countries who had embraced Islam first. Like the Islamic heritage belonging to KH Sulaiman Bin Abdurrahman Delamat where he came to Pangkalan Balai to spread Islam and left traces of heritage that became cultural heritage and many pilgrims came to pay Nazar and he was a hero of independence in Sumatra. The author uses a qualitative research method that is produced from interviews and direct documentation by conducting observations at the location of the tomb located on Jalan Kelurahan Kendodong Raye,Banyuasine, Banyuasin III District, Banyuasin Regency 111. There are two results that will be discussed by the researcher, namely the first background of KH Sulaiman bin KH Abdurrahman Delamat and the spreader of Islamic religious knowledge in Pangkalan Balai

Abstract

Pembelajaran sejarah di Sekolah Menengah Atas sering kali dipersepsikan sebagai pembelajaran yang membosankan karena dominasi metode konvensional yang berpusat pada guru dan menekankan hafalan fakta. Kondisi ini berdampak pada rendahnya minat dan keterlibatan peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan model pembelajaran sejarah berbasis teknologi sebagai inovasi dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas satu orang guru sejarah dan peserta didik kelas XI di salah satu Sekolah Menengah Atas yang telah menerapkan pembelajaran berbasis teknologi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Problem-Based Learning (PBL), Project-Based Learning (PjBL), dan Blended Learning yang terintegrasi dengan media digital dan audio-visual mampu meningkatkan partisipasi aktif, motivasi belajar, serta kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Pemanfaatan teknologi menjadikan pembelajaran lebih interaktif, kontekstual, dan relevan dengan kehidupan peserta didik. Oleh karena itu, pembelajaran sejarah berbasis teknologi dapat menjadi strategi yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan daya tarik pembelajaran sejarah di era digital.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model in improving high school students’ critical thinking skills, which are essential competencies in an era of information overload and demands for higher-order thinking. Conventional learning that remains teacher-centered often leads to low student engagement in the processes of analysis, evaluation, and argument construction. Through a qualitative method based on literature studies, this research analyzes empirical findings and theories that support the implementation of PjBL in the context of secondary education. The results show that PjBL is able to create more meaningful learning experiences through project activities that require students to identify problems, gather data, conduct in-depth analysis, collaborate, and present evidence-based solutions. This process not only strengthens critical thinking skills but also enhances students’ creativity, responsibility, and communication abilities. Although there are obstacles such as limited time, facilities, and the readiness of both teachers and students, institutional support and proper instructional planning can optimize its implementation.

Abstract

Education plays a crucial role in improving the quality of human resources and supporting national development. In the context of schools, the leadership of the principal is one of the key factors determining the success of the educational process. This study aims to analyze the leadership strategies of school principals in developing high-quality and competitive schools. The research employed a qualitative approach using a library research method. Data were collected from various sources of literature, including books, scientific journals, articles, and other relevant documents related to the research topic. The findings indicate that principals have a strategic role in improving the quality of education through various leadership strategies, such as enhancing teachers’ competencies through training and professional development, fostering a positive school culture, and implementing effective school management. In addition, principals also function as motivators who are able to establish strong working relationships with teachers and create a supportive and conducive work environment. Effective leadership strategies contribute to improving teacher performance, the quality of learning, and student achievement. Therefore, effective principal leadership plays a vital role in developing schools that are high-quality, competitive, and capable of responding to the challenges in the field of education.
