Abstract

This study aims to find out the Management of Main Facilities at Re Caffe Platinum as One of the Culinary Tourism Destinations in Pekanbaru, and to find out the obstacles faced by Re Caffe Platinum in managing the main facilities. In this study, the method used by the author is a qualitative method with data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. Key informants in this study were the vice direction, manager, members, and visitors of Re Caffe Platinum. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that facility management aims to ensure that facilities and infrastructure can function optimally, facility management at Re Caffe Platinum has five stages, namely planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, and controlling. There are several obstacles that occur in the stages of managing the main facilities, but Re Caffe Platinum can still overcome them so that the management of Re Caffe Platinum facilities continues to run well. It's just that the main facilities of the outdoor dine-in area behind still need improvement. Keywords: Management, Facilities, Re Caffe Platinum

Abstract

This study aims to examine how the check-in procedure is implemented by Guest Service Agents (Receptionists) in the Front Office Department of Grand Jatra Hotel Pekanbaru, as well as to identify the obstacles encountered during its implementation. The background of the research highlights the importance of professional check-in services in creating a positive first impression for guests, especially in five-star hotels that face intense competition in the hospitality industry. The research uses a descriptive qualitative method, with data collection techniques including observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The informants consist of the front office manager, supervisor, receptionist, and several hotel guests. The results show that the check-in procedure is generally implemented in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). However, challenges such as limited staff, demanding work schedules, and a lack of training have led to several guest complaints, particularly regarding the hospitality and speed of service. This study concludes that improving service quality and human resource management is essential to achieving optimal guest satisfaction. Abstract

Indragiri Hulu Regency, Riau Province, is a region with significant potential for tourism development, particularly natural tourism. One such destination is the Pertamina Lirik Nature Tourism Object, located in Lirik District. Despite its natural resources and relatively adequate facilities, this attraction has not been able to attract optimal tourist visits. One of the main factors influencing this situation is limited funding and human resources for promotional activities. This study aims to determine how the management of the Pertamina Lirik Nature Tourism Object promotes itself, as well as to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation. The research method used was qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation, referring to the five promotional tools according to Kotler and Armstrong (2017). The results showed that the management had implemented four of the five promotional tools. Advertising focused on Instagram, Facebook, and local radio. Sales promotions were carried out by holding various competitions and offering ticket discounts on Sundays. Publicity was provided through local mass media coverage of the activities. Direct marketing relied on word-of-mouth promotion from visitors. Individual sales have not been successful. Supporting promotional factors include a strategic location along the Trans-Sumatra Highway, social media sharing and hashtags, and programs supported by CSR and educational activities. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include a lack of active management members, insufficient funding, and limited professional human resources in the tourism sector. With proper promotion, the Pertamina Lirik Nature Tourism Object has the potential to become a stable, leading tourist destination. Abstract

Promotion plays a crucial role in developing tourism destinations as it directly influences public awareness and the image of a tourist attraction. This study examines the implementation of promotional activities at Puncak Kompe Tourist Attraction, located in Koto Mesjid Village, Kampar Regency, Riau Province. Puncak Kompe is known for its natural beauty, offering panoramic views of hills and lakes that resemble the charm of Raja Ampat. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving the management team, photographers, and visitors. The results indicate that promotional activities at Puncak Kompe remain simple and not yet optimally organized. he main obstacles identified include a lack of government support, insufficient professional staff in tourism promotion, and the absence of a long-term promotional plan. To address these challenges, the management has reactivated social media accounts, strengthened collaborations with communities and local government, and developed more creative and engaging promotional content. This study is expected to serve as an evaluation and reference for tourism managers and local authorities in enhancing effective and sustainable promotion efforts so that Puncak Kompe can continue to grow as one of the leading tourist destinations in Kampar Regency.
