Abstract

Strengthening the role of parents in educating children from an early age is the main key in shaping disciplined and responsible characters. This community service program aims to provide parenting assistance to parents in building awareness and discipline of early childhood through effective parenting. This activity is carried out through socialization, training, and direct assistance to parents in the school environment. The results of this program show that parenting assistance that involves effective communication, positive role modeling, and consistent application of rules has a significant impact in increasing children's awareness of responsibility and self-discipline. In addition, active participation of parents in accompanying children's development also contributes to the formation of better character. With this activity, it is hoped that parents can better understand the importance of their role in shaping children's behavior patterns and be able to apply appropriate parenting strategies to support optimal child development

Abstract

This research aims to develop Canva based learning media to increase the effectiveness of Arabic language learning at University. The background of this research is based on students' needs for interactive, visual, and easily accessible media, along with the development of digital technology in education. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) by adapting the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The research subjects were second semester students of the Arabic Language Education at IAI Badrus Sholeh Kediri. The learning media developed include vocabulary infographics and interactive slide presentation-based materials. The results show that Canva media is effective in improving material understanding, active student involvement in the learning process, and encouraging learning independence. Assessments from media experts and material experts show that this media is suitable for use in learning Arabic with some minor improvements. Thus, the development of Canva-based media can be an innovative solution in overcoming the boredom of conventional learning and improving the quality of Arabic language learning in university.

Abstract

Banyaknya masalah perilaku siswa yang seringkali kita jumpai seperti kurang patuh terhadap peraturan sekolah dan seringkali tidak menjalankan tugas-tugas mereka secara disiplin, menjadi latar belakang penulis untuk melakukan penelitian ini. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeteahui efektivitas layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik self management terhadap  tingkat disiplin belajar siswa. Intervensi ini bertujuan untuk mengubah sikap siswa yang kurang disiplin dalam belajar dan memiliki tingkat tanggung jawab yang rendah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan literature review yang menggunakan kerangka teori dari 10 jurnal terpilih. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan penggunaan teknik self management terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan tingkat disiplin belajar siswa.
