Abstract

Bullying is an act of intentionally hurting an individual or group verbally, physically, psychologically, or socially, with serious impacts on victims. According to data from the Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI) in 2024, cases of physical and psychological abuse against children increased from 7.8% in 2023 to 11.7% in 2024. In response to this, the community service team from UNSULBAR conducted an anti-bullying awareness program at SMPN 6 Wonomulyo. This activity aimed to improve students’ understanding, attitudes, and behavior in preventing and responding to bullying. The program consisted of three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The awareness campaign was delivered through interactive education, short educational films, group discussions, and quizzes with prizes to encourage active participation. The material covered types of bullying (verbal, physical, relational, and cyber), the roles involved in bullying incidents, and practical ways to handle them. A total of 73 students participated in the activity, which was positively received by students and school staff. Evaluation was conducted via Q&A sessions and direct feedback from students and teachers. The results showed increased student awareness and a collective commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive school environment.

Abstract

This research analyzes the existence of Adolang Traditional Institution before and after territorial division in Pamboang Subdistrict, Majene Regency. The division of Adolang Village into four villages raised concerns about the continuity of traditional institutions as guardians of local cultural values. This descriptive-analytical qualitative research employed a a purposive sampling technique and collected data through in-depth interviews, observation, documentation, and literature review. The findings indicate that the existence of the Adolang Traditional Institution remains relatively stable, with no significant changes following territorial division. The traditional institution continues to exist due to the the Adolang community's awareness, the commitment of cultural activists, and the active role of traditional officials in preserving customs. Despite territorial fragmentation, cultural solidarity among the Adolang community is maintained through consistently implemented traditional activities. This research contributes to understanding the resilience of traditional institutions in facing structural changes in village governance during the regional autonomy era.

Abstract

Pendidikan demokrasi memainkan peran strategis dalam membentuk warga negara yang aktif, kritis, dan partisipatif, namun praktik di sekolah masih didominasi oleh pendekatan kurikuler formal yang berorientasi kognitif. Kesenjangan antara tujuan normatif pendidikan demokrasi dan pengalaman praksis siswa menuntut studi yang menempatkan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler sebagai ruang pembelajaran politik. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pola dan faktor pengintegrasian nilai-nilai demokrasi dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler di SMAN 6 Gorontalo. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai demokrasi terintegrasi melalui praktik organisasi siswa yang partisipatif dan kolektif, namun lebih dominan pada tingkat praktis daripada kesadaran reflektif. Integrasi tersebut dipengaruhi oleh peran guru pembimbing, budaya sekolah partisipatif, dukungan kebijakan sekolah, dan peran aktif siswa. Studi ini menekankan pentingnya penguatan reflektif agar kegiatan ekstrakurikuler berfungsi optimal dalam pembentukan disposisi kewarganegaraan.
