Abstract

This research aims to (1) describe the results of teaching poetry reading before implementing the participatory method; (2) describe the results of teaching poetry reading after implementing the participatory method; (3) describe the influence of the participatory method in teaching poetry reading to students Class IX of SMP Negeri 3 Sendana, Majene Regency. The type of research used is quantitative research using the Pre-Experimental method. The data collection technique in this research is tasks divided into Pretest and Posttest. The population of this research is all students Class IX of SMP Negeri 3 Sendana, Majene Regency, consisting of 2 classes with a total of 40 students, these classes are taken as samples in this research by total sampling technique drawn from all classes available at SMP Negeri 3 Sendana, Majene Regency. The data analysis used in this research is descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The research results reveal that the poetry reading learning outcomes of students Class IX of SMP Negeri 3 Sendana, Majene Regency, before the application of the participatory method, were categorized as poor with an average score of 65. The poetry reading learning outcomes of students Class IX of SMP Negeri 3 Sendana, Majene Regency, after the application of the participatory method, were categorized as good with an average score of 85.28. Based on the Output Test Statistic in the simple regression test conducted, it can be observed that the value of Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.221 from 40 students. The value of sig. = 0.221 > 0.05 which means H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, thus it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of the application of participatory methods on the learning of poetry reading for students Class IX of SMP Negeri 3 Sendana, Majene Regency.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strategi ketidaksantunan berbahasa (impoliteness strategies) yang digunakan oleh netizen dalam merespons video klarifikasi publik figur Inara Rusli terkait skandal perselingkuhan. Menggunakan pendekatan Sosiopragmatik dan teori Ketidaksantunan Jonathan Culpeper (1996), penelitian ini menganalisis ujaran-ujaran kebencian yang muncul pada akun media sosial berita hiburan Cumicumi.com. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik simak dan catat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa netizen dominan menggunakan strategi Ketidaksantunan Positif (Positive Impoliteness) dan Sarkasme (Mock Politeness). Temuan khusus dalam penelitian ini adalah adanya fenomena "komodifikasi agama" sebagai bahan serangan verbal; netizen menggunakan istilah-istilah religius untuk menyerang wajah positif (positive face) penutur yang dianggap munafik atau berlindung di balik citra saleh.
