Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemanfaatan, faktor penghambat dan pendukung, serta upaya optimalisasi aplikasi Zotero dalam mengelola referensi karya tulis ilmiah. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan dilakukan pada mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra, Universitas Negeri Makassar dengan jumlah 40 orang. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, angket, dan wawancara. Analisis data mengadopsi model analisis interaktif yang terdiri atas empat alur kegiatan, yaitu pengumpulan, reduksi, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan aplikasi Zotero memudahkan dalam mengelola referensi, memiliki perpustakaan digital, kemudahan sitasi tulisan, dan efisien. Adapun faktor penghambat yaitu mahasiswa tidak terbiasa menggunakan aplikasi, proses instalasi, sinkronisasi file, integrasi, dan penambahan sitasi dengan Microsoft Word. Sedangkan faktor pendukung yaitu keterampilan mengoperasikan komputer, penguasaan teknik penulisan makalah, aplikasi Zotero bersifat nonkomersial, kemudahan menyimpan, mengonversi, dan mengedit metadata. Upaya optimalisasi dilakukan dengan memberikan fasilitas pendukung seperti buku panduan dan video tutorial, buku panduan sitasi, serta WhatsApp group.  AbstractThis research aimed to analyze the utilization, inhibiting and supporting factors, and the efforts to optimize the Zotero application in managing references to scientific papers. This research used a qualitative approach and was conducted on 40 students of the Language and Literature Education Study Program, Universitas Negeri Makassar. Data collection was carried out by observation,  questionnaire, and interview techniques. Data analysis was carried out by adopting an interactive analysis model consisting of four activity streams, namely data collection, reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the use of the Zotero application made it easier to manage references, have a digital library, ease writing citation, and efficient. The inhibiting factors including students are not accustomed to using applications, the installation process, synchronizing files, integrating, and adding citations to Microsoft Word. Furthermore, supporting factors, including computer skills, mastery of paper writing techniques, noncommercial Zotero applications, ease of storing, converting, and editing metadata. Optimization efforts are carried out by providing supporting facilities such guidebooks-video tutorials, citation manuals, and WhatsApp groups.

Abstract

This study aimed to find out two things, namely (1) the factors that influence the family determine language selection policy; (2) factors that influence society in the use of language in public spaces. This study took samples in several regions including, Magelang, Wonogiri, Yogyakarta, Makassar, and Tanjung Pinang. The type of research used is qualitative. Data collection techniques are carried out by observation and interviews. The collected data is then analyzed using descriptive qualitative techniques. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that (1) the choice of language used in the family sphere is influenced by factors, namely the first language of family members, the language used in the neighborhood, the language of education and the media; (2) the language used in public space is basically regulated by the government, however, the use of language still tends to hit rules, especially the language used for advertising.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji keefektifan keterampilan menulis paragraf argumentasi berdasarkan metode NLP pada siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 11 Makassar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen.desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu pretest-post test non-equivalent control group design. Peneltian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 11 Makassar. Yang menjadi populasi yaitu keseluruhan siswa kelas X yang berjumlah 352 siswa. pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Sampel yang terpilih yaitu kelas X-1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X-2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa tugas menulis paragraf argumentasi. Data yang terkumpul kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan stattistik inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara pembelajaran menulis paragraf argumentasi berbasis NLP dengan pembelajaran keterampilan menulis paragraf argumentasi dengan menggunakan metode ceramah dan penugasan. Hal ini ditunjukkan pada hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan analisis inferensial jenis uji-t independen (independent sample test)  dan diperoleh nilai t-hitung = 4,263 dengan signifikansi atau p-value = 0,000. Karena nilai p-value = 0,000 0,05 maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara pembelajaran keterampilan menulis paragraf argumentasi berbasis NLP dengan pembelajaran menulis paragraf argumentasi menggunakan metode ceramah dan penugasan. Dengan demikian, pembelajaran berbasis NLP efektif digunakan dalam keterampilan menulis paragraf argumentasi pada siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 11 Makassar.  The effectiveness of neuro-linguistic programming on learning writing arguments Abstract: This study aims to examine the effectiveness of argumentation writing skills based on the NLP method at the tenth-grade students of SMA Negeri 11 Makassar. This was an experimental study. The research design used is the pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group design. This research was carried out in SMA Negeri 11 Makassar. The population was all the tenth-grade students which were 352 students. The sampling technique used was the purposive sampling technique. The collected data was then analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The results showed that there was a significant difference between learning of writing argumentative paragraph based on the NLP method and the lecturing and assignment methods. This was indicated in the results of hypothesis testing from the independent t-test (independent sample test) of inferential analysis where the value of t-count obtained was 4.263 and the significance or p-value was 0.000. Because the p-value was 0.05, it can be concluded that there was a significant difference between the learning of writing argumentative paragraph based on the NLP method and the lecturing and assignment methods. Thus, NLP-based learning was effectively used in writing argumentation paragraph for the tenth-grade students of SMA Negeri 11 Makassar.

Abstract

Abstract: Effect of Interest Nonverbal Communication Teaching Students Learn. The aim of this research was to determine the effect of nonverbal communication lecturer to student interest in learning the Indonesian education courses. The approach in this study is a quantitative research. The research was conducted on two different courses, namely Indonesian Education Program. These courses are within the scope of the Faculty of Languages and Literature, University of Makassar. In this study, data collection was done by questionnaire and interview. The data collection was conducted to obtain data on the effect of nonverbal communication to the interest of students learning Indonesian Education Faculty of Languages and Literature, University of Makassar force in 2014. In this study, the data collected through questionnaires and interviews were subsequently analyzed by quantitative descriptive and to use the influence menanalisis SPSS program in order to determine the extent of nonverbal communication pengruh lecturer with student motivation to learn. Results of linear regression analysis to test the hypothesis indicates that the value t count> t-table (8072> 2363). From the test results concluded that there is significant influence between nonverbal communication lecturer to student interest in learning.

Abstract

Kegiatan Kampus mengajar mempunyai peran yang sangat penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan pada sekolah dasar dan sekolah menengah. Dengan adanya program ini, Sekolah mendapatkan kekuatan baru untuk bangkit dalam upaya menata kembali proses pembelajaran setelah beberapa waktu terkena pandemi Covid 19. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan beberapa langkah mulai dari tahap pembekalan atau pelatihan, perancangan dan pelaksanaan program serta tahap akhir yaitu evaluasi program. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan perkembangan yang signifikan yang dialami oleh pihak sekolah khususnya dalam menata dan mengatur administrasi di sekolah baik yang berhubungan dengan sarana dan prasarana maupun yang berhubungan dengan proses pembelajaran yang berlangsung. Kegiatan administrasi sekolah ini membuat suasana belajar kembali hidup setelah terdampak Covid 19.

Abstract

Comprehensive evaluation and emphasis on the student activity process as well as providing broad wiggle room for students is needed in learning assessment. Literacy assessment with such a model is necessary to improve students' literacy skills. One assessment model that puts pressure on student activity and provides ample space for everyone to respond to an assignment in its own way is the assessment of portfolio. This paper aims to explore portfolio assessments as part of an authentic assessment for use in literacy assessments. This research uses literart research study method to provide an overview of the use of portfolios in literacy assessments in Indonesian schools. Portfolio assessment on students’ literacy skills is carried out through Indonesian language learning, especially on the efficacy of writing. The portfolio assessment adopted uses models offered by Hamp-Lyons and Condon (2000) consisting of collection, selection, and reflection. Assessments are carried out by combining formative and summative assessments. To balance the summative aspects of portfolio assessment, several formative strategies can be adopted (Lee & Lam, 2009), including (1) ongoing teacher feedback, (2) conferences, and (3) peer reviews.

Abstract

Abstract — Potensi wisata buatan yang dimiliki Desa Campagaya menjadi salah satu pertimbangan untuk menjadikan desa mitra pada program kegiatan desa wisata edukatif. Kegiatan desa wisata edukatif merupakan suatu bentuk kegiatan pembelajaran dengan cara memberikan pengalaman mengajar bagi mahasiswa kepada siswa di tengah masyarakat di luar sekolah dengan  memngkobinasikan model pembelajaran unggulan LPTK. Kegiatan eduwisata terintegrasi pembelajaran berbasis hots literasi bertempat di Desa Campagaya Kecamatan Galesong  Kabupaten Takalar Sulawesi Selatan. Kegiatan desa wisata edukatif dilakukan dengan cara memberikan pengalaman mengajar bagi mahasiswa kepada siswa di tengah masyarakat di luar sekolah yang berorientasi pada Hots Literasi. Kegiatan eduwisata terintegrasi pembelajaran berbasis hots literasi di Desa Campagaya Kecamatan Galesong  Kabupaten Takalar Sulawesi Selatan telah sukses dilaksanakan. Dengan adanya lokasi lahan induk lokasi desa wisata di Desa Campagaya dapat dijadikan  pusat kegiatan wisata dan media eduaksi luar ruangan bagi siswa.Kata kunci: eduwisata, pembelajaran, hots literasi

Abstract

Abstract. Digital literacy skills have a positive impact on managing academic tasks, including writing academic essays. This study aims to describe the reliability of references and the quality of information content in student academic essays. This research focuses on students' digital literacy activities in accessing valid reference sources and to produce digital content that has quality information content. This research was conducted on 30 students who participated in face-to-face and independent learning and independent learning in writing academic essays. Students' academic essays were analyzed to obtain data on the reliability of references and the quality of information content. Student responses were obtained from questionnaires and interviews to gather data on the reasons for selecting references. Data analysis shows that students still use blogs, Wikipedia, and online newspapers as references on the grounds of their relevance to the writing being developed. The results of the analysis of the information content of student academic essays show that students can make academic essays that have quality information content worthy of being disseminated in the digital world.  Keywords:   References, Academic Essays, Reliability, Information Content.

Abstract

Kegiatan Program Pengabdian Masyarakat ini dilaksanakan dalam bentuk pelatihan dengan pola pembimbingan mengenai teknik penulisan artikel ilmiah dan tata cara publikasi artikel ilmiah hasil penelitian pada jurnal nasional bagi mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia Universitas Pancasakti Makassar. Bentuk kegiatan berupa: penulisan artikel ilmiah menulis artikel ilmiah (abstrak, pendahuluan, tinjauan pustaka, metodologi, kesimpulan, daftar pustaka), Submission dan mengonfirmasi submission pada open journal system (OJS) jurnal ilmiah nasional. Hasil yang dicapai dalam penerapan Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) Ini: (1) mahasiswa peserta pelatihan mengertahui teknik penulisan artikel ilmiah hasil penelitian pada jurnal ilmiah dan teknik penelusuran referensi tinjauan pustaka, (2) mahasiswa peserta pelatihan telah memiliki keterampilan dalam menulis artikel ilmiah hasil penelitian, dan (3) mahasiswa peserta pelatihan telah memiliki pengetahuan tentang open journal system (OJS) dan tata cara publikasi artikel pada aplikasi tersebut.

Abstract

One of the demands of professional teachers is their competence in the field of classroom action research. The reality on the ground shows that the classroom action research that has been prepared has not shown the CAR that is as expected. The solution that can be done to overcome this is to conduct training on writing class action research proposals (CAR). This activity has an output target in the form of a PTK proposal framework. The target partner in this community service activity is the Indonesian language MGMP for the Middle School in Maros district. The implementation of activities with a follow-up study design will be described in the methods of lectures, questions and answers, assignments, discussions, and practice/simulation as well as evaluation. The benchmark for achieving the goal is that participants can absorb at least 80% of the material provided by the presenters (IbM implementers) in preparing PTK proposals, both theory and practice. The results of the implementation of this activity showed that the participants had been able to develop PTK proposals in accordance with the problems they faced in their schools, especially in learning Indonesian. Thus, it is no longer difficult for teachers to conduct classroom action research. The evaluation results show that this community service activity is categorized as very good (90%) in terms of the participants' activeness and motivation. Meanwhile, in terms of understanding and learning practices produced are categorized as good (80%).
