Abstract

Folklore constitutes an essential part of cultural heritage, encompassing educational, moral, and historical values that enrich knowledge and contribute to the character development of younger generations. These stories not only convey positive messages but also reflect the identity and local wisdom of a region. However, the rapid advancement of technology and the widespread influence of modern culture have led to a significant decline in adolescents’ interest in folklore. This condition presents a challenge in the efforts to preserve and raise awareness of local culture, particularly the folklore of Palembang. This study aims to design an engaging educational medium in the form of a board game, adapted from the folk tale Putri Kembang Dadar. The primary objective is to increase teenagers’ interest in and understanding of folklore while strengthening their appreciation of local cultural identity. The design process employs the Design Thinking approach, which involves the stages of problem identification, solution formulation, and the application of visually appealing concepts that align with contemporary youth interests. The final product is an interactive and educational board game, presented in an engaging and accessible format. The achievement of this design is expected to be able to introduce and provide education for teenagers in Palembang City regarding the cultural heritage in the form of the Putri Kembang folk tale.

Abstract

Abstract This research discusses the learning process after the Covid-19 Pandemic in Indonesia which took away many things and then formed a new order. Online education must be carried out by all students in Indonesia in order to deal with the critical situation that occurred due to Covid 19. However, the transition to online education in Indonesia has many obstacles, such as inadequate internet networks for remote areas in Indonesia, parents' work is disrupted, and educators must maximize the learning process to run well. The purpose of this research is to find out the opinions of educators, students, and parents regarding online learning in Indonesia, in order to provide solutions to online learning problems that occur in Indonesia. This research uses a qualitative method. That is by collecting data from previous articles, distributing questionnaires and documentation in the form of photos. The questionnaire collection was carried out using a google form found on a smartphone and asked questions that were given freely and clearly. The results showed that (1) students agree with the hybrid learning process (2) the majority of educators disagree with the online learning process because it is not optimal (3) parents prefer offline learning methods due to lack of infrastructure. Abstrak Penelitian ini membahas proses pembelajaran pasca Pandemi Covid-19 di Indonesia yang merenggut banyak hal dan kemudian membentuk sebuah tatanan baru. Pendidikan secara daring wajib d ilakukan oleh seluruh peserta didik di Indonesia demi menghadapi situasi kritis yang terjadi akibat Covid 19. Namun peralihan pendidikan secara daring di Indonesia mengalami banyak kendala, seperti jaringan internet yang kurang memadai bagi daerah pelosok di Indonesia, Pekerjaan orang tua pun terganggu, dan tenaga pendidik harus memaksimalkan proses pembelajaran agar berjalan dengan baik. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pendapat para tenaga pendidik, mahasiswa, dan orang tua terkait pembelajaran secara online di Indonesia, agar dapat memberikan solusi dalam masalah pembelajaran online yang terjadi di Indonesia . Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. yaitu dengan cara mengumpulkan data dari artikel terdahulu, menyebarkan angket dan dokumentasi berupa foto. Pengumpulan angket dilakukan menggunakan google form yang terdapat pada smartphone dan mengajukan pertanyaan yang diberikan secara bebas dan jelas. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa (1) mahasiswa setuju dengan proses pembelajaran hybrid learning (2) mayoritas tenaga pendidik tidak setuju dengan proses pembelajaran online dikarenakan tidak maksimal (3) orang tua lebih memilih metode pembelajaran offline karena kurangnya sarana prasarana.
