Abstract

Kegiatan pendampingan ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman mitra UMKM Vanie Honey yang bergerak dalam usaha madu terhadap perbaikan kualitas label logo dan packaging. Saat ini, usaha madu yang mereka hasilkan dari sisi penampilan baik label dan kemasan masih sederhana. Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat untuk mengenalkan strategi branding (pengemasan dan pelabelan) yang baik dan menarik, dan kegiatan pelatihan bertujuan untuk melatih skill pelaku UMKM Vanie Honey mengenai cara pembuatan kemasan dan label yang baik dan menarik. Metode yang digunakan dalam skema sosialisasi dan pendampingan kepada pemilik terkait strategi labeling dan packaging untuk meningkatkan penjualan produk UMKM Vanie Honey di Kabupaten Demak ini dilaksanakan di Desa Katonsari Kecamatan Demak Kabupaten Demak pada hari Senin, 03 Februari 2025. Hasil pengabdian kepada masyarakat menujukan bahwa Universitas Muria Kudus setelah melakukan kegiatan pengabdian dalam rangka meningkatkan kualitas dan volume penjualan atas produk yang dihasilkan oleh UMKM Vanie Honey melalui penyuluhan dan pendampingan labelling dan packaging telah mampu meningkatkan daya tarik pasar juga meningkatkan penjulan produk pemilik usaha Vanie Honey di Desa Katonsari Kecamatan Demak Kabupaten Demak dengan kemasan yang lebih bagus, yaitu dengan menggunakan drigen dan botol kaca yang lebih tebal untuk melindungi produk dan menggunakan perekat bungkus yang lebih rapat sehingga tidak cepat terbuka, dan juga produk terlihat lebih menarik dan informatif karena telah mempunyai identitas atau label serta dapat menjangkau pasar yang lebih luas.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the possibility of implementing the load cell to automatically monitor the inventory stock level. The study involved accuracy, repeatability and linearity testing of the sensor in measuring the weight of the loaded items which then translated into the number. Results shows that the model successfully counts the dynamic stock level loaded onto the shelf and record the timestamps of stock changes during a period of time. On the aspect of weight measurement, there are slight error observed during the experiment, ranging from 1% to 7%. However, the error number is not merely enough for consideration, especially that the nature light weight of the object, that is only 5.5 grams. This study presents a new approach to test the system by presenting the accuracy, repeatability and linearity test. Besides, the system is meant to be attached on the shelf for calculating the actual inventory level, unlike the other study which use the loadcell for frontline stock measurement mechanism. Furthermore, this study successfully provides a real-time inventory system which able to record the timestamp everytime there is a change on the stock level, unlike the other study which only informs during minimum or maximum limit. With those findings, the study enrich the discussion of using this IoT system for stock monitoring.
