Abstract

In the current era of digitalization, villages are expected to follow technological developments to modernize correspondence services. Village administration services delivered via the internet enable the village government to communicate information quickly and simply to all village officials, the community, village organizations and the community within the village. Apart from that, the community can submit input to the village government through village information services to direct development in a more positive direction. The problem in Serasah Village that often occurs is that the village head and office staff concerned with carrying out services are often not at the village office because they are out of town on business or there are sub-district meetings and currently there are additional activities in the form of training. electrical installation from BLKP Jambi. So many residents experience obstacles because of this, in fact, some residents who live far from the office area often receive less than optimal service. Based on this problem, it is necessary to design an information system at the Serasah Village office which will take the form of a website which has features regarding information regarding news and activity agendas that will be carried out at the Serasah Village Office, features for online letter submission services and checking the status of letter submissions made. by society. The system development method used to develop websites is the waterfall model. After creating the website, the website testing stage was carried out using the black box testing method with successful test results and a feasibility test was carried out using a Likert scale model. The results of the feasibility test were carried out using a questionnaire and data was obtained with an average percentage of 81.6%.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi saat ini sangat mempengaruhi kehidupan masyarakat dalam penggunaan teknologi terutama di dunia pendidikan dan kerja merupakan salah satu yang banyak memanfaatkan teknologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang Sistem Informasi Penerimaan Santri Baru (PSB) di Pondok Pesantren Raudhatul Mujawwidin Kabupaten Tebo, yang bertujuan mempermudah calon santri dalam proses pendaftaran. Sistem ini dapat digunakan oleh admin dan calon santri, menyediakan fungsi pendaftaran, pembayaran online, dan pengunggahan berkas. Pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif diterapkan untuk mengumpulkan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi pustaka. Metode pengembangan yang diterapkan adalah air terjun waterfall, alat bantu pemodelan yang digunakan ialah Unified Modeling Language (UML) dengan desain menggunakan CI4, Visual Studio Code, PHP, dan MySQL. UML dan aplikasi mockup Balsamiq digunakan untuk perancangan antarmuka, sedangkan pengujian dilakukan dengan metode blackbox dan teknik partisi kesetaraan. Kata Kunci: Sistem Informasi, Waterfall, PHP, MySql dan Website

Abstract

The rapid advancement of technology plays a significant role in various aspects of life, including tourism and education. The Museum Menara Gentala Arasy in Jambi holds great potential as a center for learning about history and culture. However, the main challenge lies in leveraging technology to enhance the museum's appeal, particularly to younger generations and educational institutions. This study aims to design an Android-based virtual tour application for the Museum Gentala Arasy. The application offers an interactive experience that allows users to explore the museum virtually, providing easier and more engaging access. The Agile Kanban method was chosen for its flexibility in adapting to needs during the development process. The study results indicate that the application successfully integrates key features, such as 3D visualization of the museum, object information panels, and responsive navigation. Developed using Sketchup and Unity, the application allows users to interact directly with the museum's historical collections. These features are expected to not only strengthen the museum's role as an educational resource but also expand its cultural promotion outreach in Jambi. The application serves as an innovative medium for learning about Islamic history and culture in Indonesia while contributing positively to preserving cultural values.
