Abstract

Abstract

This Community Service Program aims to optimize the empowerment of the Tambakan Independent Marine and Fisheries Training Center (P2MKP) based on the blue economy to increase the economic independence of the Bugel Village community, Padarincang District, Serang Regency. This village has significant pond fisheries potential, but its utilization has not been maximized. The blue economy approach is focused on developing sustainable and efficient fisheries. The community service methods used include financial management skills training, counseling on blue economy practices, and the development of local resource-based businesses. The results of this community service are improving community skills in managing resources and the formation of an e-commerce-based marketing system, improving neat and documented business financial records through financial system records with the SIAPIK application, blue economy-based businesses, and the formation of independent business groups. In addition, there is a higher awareness of sustainable practices and positive impacts on the environment. Thus, the economic independence of the Bugel Village community can be realized sustainably. Increased sales turnover in September to November 2024, there was an increase in sales in October by 12%, then in November 18%. Based on the survey, it stated that there was an increase in understanding related to financial management by 67%, the average value before the activity was 52.7 while after the activity it became 88.1.

Abstract

The process of recapitulating tax invoice data is crucial because it directly relates to a company's financial management. This process can be challenging for business owners when implemented using inefficient methods. For example, at CV Banten Inspirasi Mandiri, tax invoice data recapitulation is still carried out conventionally by manually entering data into Microsoft Excel. This approach is ineffective in terms of time efficiency and offers limited guarantees of data accuracy. To address this issue, an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based application was developed to optimize the company's time and resources. Specifically, this system utilizes Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology, which enables automatic data extraction from tax invoice files. The implementation results showed a time efficiency rate of 92.92%, with 100% accuracy for OCR results from PDF files and 89% for OCR results from JPG files, outperforming conventional methods, which only achieved 80% accuracy.

Abstract

Serang Regency, covering 170,341.25 ha and consisting of 29 districts, has great potential for aquaculture development, including freshwater, brackish water, and marine farming. The post-pandemic economic condition has affected freshwater fish farmers in Bugel Village, Padarincang District, with a significant decline in both seed and consumption fish sales—up to 80%. The current marketing system still relies on word-of-mouth and WhatsApp status, resulting in limited market access. This community service activity aims to enhance the marketing of fish farming products among P2MKP Tambakan partners. The main activities include developing a web-based e-commerce platform and conducting branding training for partners. The methods used consist of institutional and participatory approaches, discussions, and training sessions. The developed e-commerce system can be accessed through www.tambakanfish.com. Socialization and training were implemented to improve partners’ digital marketing capacity. From five partner respondents, there was a significant increase in understanding of the e-commerce system and product photography techniques, from an average pre-training score of 51.5 to 85.1 post-training. Additionally, sales turnover increased by 12% in October and 18% in November. The results indicate that digitalization supports improved marketing performance and sales. In the future, partnerships with government and private sectors are expected to expand marketing networks through local exhibitions and bazaars.

Abstract

Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries (KKP) noted that Indonesia produced 56,539 tons of gourami fish in the second quarter of 2022 High market demand and economical selling prices encourage farmers to cultivate gourami fish. In cultivating gourami fish there are several obstacles, for example, disease caused by poor water quality. Water quality is the main parameter in the success of gourami fish farming. This research aims to develop a water quality monitoring system based on the Internet of Things. The system prototype uses a temperature sensor (DS18B20), Ph sensor (dfrobot SEN0161), turbidity sensor (dfrobot SEN0189), flowmeter, and ultrasonic sensor (JSN-SR04) as input. The Arduino Mega R3 microcontroller is the processor and the Oled module (SSD1306) is the output. Thingboard is a cloud server that functions as sensor data monitoring. Temperature sensor testing results (DS18B20) average error 0.48%, Ph(dfrobot SEN0161) sensor testing average error 0.64%, ultrasonic sensor testing (JSN-SR04) average error 7.83%, testing Turbidity sensors can measure the level of water turbidity. Next, the water quality parameter data is processed using the Naïve Bayes algorithm method for classifying the water quality of gourami ponds. The results of this classification obtained an accuracy of 99.94% a Kappa Statistics value of 0.9989 and a Mean Absolute Error of 0.0003
