Abstract

Based on the research results, it can be concluded that: (1) The mathematical concept understanding ability of students in the pre-cycle obtained a total score of 1330, with an average of 57.83, the highest score of 80 and the lowest score of 40. (2) The mathematical concept understanding ability of students in cycle I obtained a total score of 1710, an average of 74.35, the highest score of 90 and the lowest score of 50. The mathematical concept understanding ability of students in cycle II obtained a total score of 1930, an average of 83.91, the highest score of 90 and the lowest score of 60. The results of observations of the mathematical concept understanding of class V students at SD Negeri 1501 Hurung Jilok in cycle II have increased, namely there are only 20 students or 86.96% who understand the mathematical concept "very good", 3 students or 13.14% who understand the mathematical concept "good", no students who understand the mathematical concept "sufficient", no students who understand the mathematical concept "poor" and no students who understand the mathematical concept "poor". understanding of mathematical concepts is “very lacking”.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the Reciprocal Teaching model on elementary students’ mathematical understanding at Elementary School Negeri 1501 Hurung Jilok. The study employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental one-group pretest–posttest design. The participants were all fifth-grade students in one class. Data were collected through a mathematical understanding test administered before and after the implementation of the Reciprocal Teaching model. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics and a paired sample t-test after meeting the required assumptions. The findings reveal a difference in students’ mathematical understanding before and after the implementation of Reciprocal Teaching. These results indicate that mathematics instruction emphasizing dialogic and reflective strategies through Reciprocal Teaching is associated with changes in students mathematical understanding. This study provides empirical evidence supporting the use of the Reciprocal Teaching model as an alternative approach to mathematics instruction in elementary schools.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine 1) the effect of creativity in providing reinforcement to the learning motivation of class III students of MIN Sibuhuan. 2) How much influence does creativity provide reinforcement to the learning motivation of class III students of MIN Sibuhuan. This study is a quantitative study, the population in the study were all class III students of MIN Sibuhuan, while the sample in the study was taken from the entire population, with a total of 28 students. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis techniques used descriptive statistics and prerequisite tests. The results obtained were that the normality test showed that all data obtained by the researcher had normal data because lhitung <ltabel with a value of 0.999 <0.1772 on the variable providing reinforcement and on the variable learning motivation 0.0010 <0.1772. And the homogeneity test showed that the value of fhitung <ftabel with a value of 0.672 <4.23. providing reinforcement has a significant effect on the learning motivation of MIN Sibuhuan students. Based on the results of the t-test, it shows that the t-count value > t-table (3.624 > 1.705), and the significant value is 0.000 < 0.05. This means that the Ha hypothesis is accepted and H0 is rejected. then the determination test shows a value of 0.549 or 54.9%. meaning that the skill of providing reinforcement can contribute to increasing student learning motivation by 54.9% while 45.1% is explained by other variables that are not studied.

Abstract

Laws and regulations play a strategic role in shaping the direction, structure, and effectiveness of education management. Education is understood not only as a pedagogical process but also as an institutional practice within the framework of state administration and public policy. This article aims to analyze the role of laws and regulations in education management and identify challenges that arise in their implementation. This study uses a qualitative approach with a library research design, with data sources consisting of educational legislation, policy documents, academic books, and relevant journal articles. Data are analyzed using a juridical-normative approach and thematic analysis to interpret the function of regulations, implementation patterns, and their implications for education governance. The results of the study indicate that laws and regulations function as instruments of legitimacy, control, and direction in education management, particularly in ensuring accountability, quality standards, and legal certainty. However, this study also identified challenges in the form of gaps between norms and practices, regulatory rigidity, and policy inconsistencies between levels of government that have the potential to hinder innovation and managerial effectiveness. Therefore, a more adaptive, coherent, and evidence-based regulatory approach is needed so that the law does not only function as an administrative control tool, but also as a facilitator for improving the quality and sustainability of education management.
