Abstract

Indonesia is the largest furniture exporter in the world. This business will continue to grow because Indonesia has abundant wood raw materials. These wood raw materials must be stored in a good wooden warehouse because the bad warehouse conditions will cause physical damage to the wood. This study designed a temperature and humidity monitoring system in a miniature wooden warehouse based on Internet of Things (IoT) technology. The test location was carried out at 5 locations. The length of test time i.e. 8 hours. Based on testing, data are displayed in app.microthings.id website for access location of Medan Selayang, the max. temperature was 26.4oC and the max. humidity was 68.8%. For access location of Medan Baru on Berdikari road, the max. temperature was 26.4oC and the max. humidity was 68.8%. For access location of Medan Johor, the max. temperature was 25.4oC and the max. humidity 68.1%. For access location of Medan Baru on Jamin Ginting Road, the max. temperature was 25.1oC and the max. humidity was 68.3%. For access location of Medan Baru on Universitas road, the max. temperature was 24.7oC and the max. humidity was 69%. These data are compared to data from A-TH3 sensor. There is the difference and latency between them. The highest of latency occured in Medan Johor District about 10 second

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the application of the group investigation learning model can improve students' critical thinking skills in social studies class V SDN 01 Pinoh Utara. This type of research is classroom action research. The subjects in this study were 12 students of class V 01 Pinoh Utara. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, written tests and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive quantitative. The results in this study were that students' critical thinking skills increased with the percentage of students who completed the KKM, which was 83.33%. This has exceeded the achievement of the expected success criteria of 80%. Whereas the results of APKG II Cycle I got an average value of 72.84% with the developing category according to expectations and cycle II got an average value of 93.66% with the category of very good development. By looking at the conditions of each cycle, namely, cycle I, cycle II, it can be concluded that learning with the group investigation model can improve the critical thinking skills of class V SDN 01 Pinoh Utara in thematic subjects.Keywords: Critical thinking, application of the group investigation model Absrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran group investigation dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS kelas V SDN 01 Pinoh Utara. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V 01 Pinoh Utara yang berjumlah 12 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, tes tertulis dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil dalam penelitian ini adalah keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa meningkat dengan persentase siswa yang tuntas KKM yaitu sebesar 83,33%. Hal tersebut telah melebihi pencapaian kriteria keberhasilan yang di harapkan yaitu 80%.  Sedangkan pada hasil APKG II Siklus I mendapakan nilai rata – rata sebesar 72,84% dengan katagori berkembang sesuai harapan dan siklus II mendapatkan nilai rata – rata sebesar 93,66% dengan katagori berkembnag sangat baik. Dengan melihat dari kondisi tiap siklus yaitu, siklus I, siklus II, maka dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa pembelajaran dengan model group investigation dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa kelas V SDN 01 Pinoh Utara dalam mata pelajaran tematik.  Kata Kunci: Berpikir kritis, Penerapan model group investigation
