Abstract

The purpose of the study is to analyse and decide the factors of uncollected and dense delivery in Warehouse Line I at Soekarno Hatta airport. The study is a descriptive explorative using Cube per Order Index (COI). The data analysis used Fishbone and Focus Group Discussion (FGD). The result shows that the warehouse operator still needs to upgrade the way of handling, storing, and cargo expenditure by coordinating with other related institutions.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to examine the effect of logistics distribution planning and the choice of transportation modes on the delivery of disaster emergency assistance. The data collection method used a survey of 30 BNPB employees as respondent. Multiple regression method was used in this research. The result shows that there is influence of logistics emergency distribution relief and the choice of transportation modes has a significant positive effect and a strong relationship on the smooth delivery of disaster emergency assistance.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to find out the influence of sales promotion and brand image towards the decision of purchasing soft drinks.  In this research, the writers used 2 methods of data collection which are data collecting using questionnaire and library research, and data analyzing using regression analysis techniques, correlation, coefficient determinant, and hypothesis testing. The results of the analysis and discussion show that there is a positive influence between sales promotion and brand image towards the decision of purchasing. It is shown in multiple linear regression equation that Y = 0.581 + 0.406X1 + 0.568X2. It means, if there is a change in X1 by one unit, consequently, there will be an increase in Y at 0.406.  Moreover, if the brand image is increased by one unit, there will be an increase of Y at 0.568.  Based on the correlation analysis, the value of R is 0.782, meaning that there is strong correlation between X1 and X2 towards Y. Coefficient determinant equals 61.1%. This means that the contribution of sales promotion and brand image towards the decision of purchasing is at 61.1% while the other 38.9% is affected by other factors. The partial hypothesis testing reveals that the Tstat of X1 equals 2.859 and Tstat  of X2 equals 3.395 with Ttable is 2.021 where Tstat > Ttable and  the result of Fstat = 30.606 and Ftable = 3.238, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This means there is a significant influence between sales promotion and brand image towards the decision of purchasing soft drinks.

Abstract

This study aimed at understanding the effect of the application of IPC Terminal Operating System (ITOS) on container receipt and / or expenditure services to and / or from the Nusantara II Field of Tanjung Priok Port. The problem of this research was whether the implementation of the IPC Terminal Operating System can make container acceptance and / or container services at the container terminal better. The analytical method used was simple regression, correlation coefficient, determinant coefficient, and t test. The results of statistical calculations obtain that the linear regression equation Y = 6.26 + 0.80X, explaining that the level of container acceptance and / or expenditure services can be predicted to be better if the implementation of ITOS increases better. The level of relations between the two variables is very strong and positive (r = 0.82). ITOS contribution to the level of strong container acceptance and / or expenditure services with a determinant coefficient value of 67.24%. ITOS has a significant effect on container revenue and / or expenditure services with a t count value (7.61) greater than t table (2.048).

Abstract

Warehouses are used to store company-owned goods, both raw materials and finished goods. Good warehouse conditions can help carry out all activities in the company. According to. Therefore, design patterns and warehouse layouts are very important to simplify and increase company productivity. The use of storage methods and warehouse management systems that have less effect on the operations and smooth running of the goods. so that all operational activities run smoothly. The use of the correct storage method can also maximize the existing warehouse capacity. With warehouse conditions that are not well organized, it also has an impact on the less than optimal order processing because the location of the goods is not organized and orderly. The application of this method is a shared storage method because by applying this method the distance of taking ordered goods is faster. That way you can increase the total order that can be completed

Abstract

This study assesses customer satisfaction with Lion Parcel during the 2020-2021 COVID-19 period, noting a substantial surge in orders during the pandemic and peak seasons. The research explores the potential of a Logistics Information System as a broader communication network for companies to send and receive information. Additionally, it employs the Waiting Line Method to address customer queue service issues. The study, involving 100 respondents categorized by gender, age, and occupation, utilizes quantitative methods with SmartPLS version 4.0. The analysis reveals that the Average Variance Extracted (AVE) values for the Logistics Information System (X1), Waiting Line Method (X2), and Customer Satisfaction (Y) exceed the 0.5 threshold, with values of 0.693, 0.625, and 0.829, respectively. The R-Square value of 0.711 suggests that all exogenous latent constructs collectively influence Customer Satisfaction (Y) by 71% in this study and 29% were influenced by other factors.
