Abstract

Savings products for students at BPRS HIK Parahyangan, aims to determine how much interest students have in student savings. Student savings are savings for students issued nationally by banks in Indonesia with easy and simple requirements and attractive features. This Student Savings savings product uses the wadiah contract. The background of this research on student savings products is due to the tight competition between student savings products at BPRS HIK Parahyangan and student savings products at other Islamic Banks. This study uses a qualitative approach that is descriptive in nature. While this type of research is conducted with field research. data collected from interviews, as well as primary and secondary data.  Based on the results of this study conducted by the author, it can be seen that among students there are still many who are not familiar with BPRS HIK Parahyangan Indramayu Branch, still lack interest in saving at BPRS HIK Parahyangan Indramayu Branch, Still Lack of Understanding of Student Savings Products, Lack of public attention to student savings promotions, still many who do not fully trust BPRS HIK Parahyangan Indramayu Branch.

Abstract

The role of students is very important in changing various aspects of society. Therefore, students are expected not only to focus on learning in college, but also to be active in contributing to society. One way to carry out this contribution is through community service activities which are part of the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. Sidadadi Village in Haurgeulis District, Indramayu Regency, was chosen as the location for PkM. We aim to provide education on financial management, how to manage finances from an early age for children in Sidadadi Village. Socialization is one of the means of the learning and teaching process. The purpose of socialization is to provide an understanding of something to individuals and community groups. Saving is important in terms of financial management. Saving is an activity of setting aside money for a certain period of time that can be used in the future. Knowledge about finance is not only intended for adults or parents, but early childhood needs to be given an understanding and good habits that can be useful in the future. Elementary School located in Sidadadi Village, Haurgeulis, Indramayu became the destination for community service activities where the participants of this activity were children of Sidadadi Village with an age range of 7 to 12 years. The main strategy in this activity is to provide knowledge about saving to early childhood children and in this learning activity we use intermediary media as a means to train children's knowledge and creativity. Providing knowledge about saving which also trains children's creativity is expected to be easier to understand by children in Sidadadi Village. The importance of introducing money and the concept of saving through the Education Activity on the Importance of Saving from an Early Age aims to explain and provide an understanding of achieving ideals, providing knowledge to participants about the introduction of money. The level of awareness, understanding and thinking of children regarding the importance of living frugally and saving should be known from an early age. This aims to prepare themselves and their understanding to be more disciplined in managing and managing finances and wise in using the amount of their savings in the future with various needs.

Abstract

Perkembangan perbankan syariah di Indonesia mengalami pertumbuhan yang signifikan, namun tingkat pemahaman masyarakat terhadap produk-produk perbankan syariah, khususnya tabungan wadiah, masih terbilang rendah terutama di daerah pedesaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pemahaman masyarakat terhadap produk tabungan wadiah di Desa Bunder, Kecamatan Widasari, Kabupaten Indramayu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan responden yang terdiri dari masyarakat Desa Bunder yang memiliki berbagai latar belakang pendidikan dan sosial ekonomi. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis kualitatif dan untuk pengambilan data menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman masyarakat terhadap produk tabungan wadiah dipengaruhi oleh empat faktor. Pertama, faktor pendidikan berperan penting dalam membentuk pemahaman masyarakat, dimana tingkat pendidikan yang lebih tinggi, terutama dengan latar belakang ekonomi atau keuangan, memudahkan pemahaman konsep dasar perbankan syariah seperti prinsip wadiah dan larangan riba. Kedua, faktor pengetahuan yang diperoleh melalui berbagai saluran informasi seperti media sosial, brosur perbankan, dan komunikasi interpersonal sangat mempengaruhi tingkat pemahaman, meskipun masih terdapat kesenjangan antara pengetahuan dasar dan pemahaman mendalam. Ketiga, faktor lingkungan sosial seperti keluarga, teman, tokoh agama, dan komunitas berperan signifikan dalam membentuk persepsi dan keputusan masyarakat, dimana dukungan dari lingkungan yang menerapkan nilai-nilai keislaman mempermudah pemahaman konsep tabungan wadiah, yang terahir ada faktor dari bank. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan perlunya strategi sosialisasi yang lebih efektif dari pihak perbankan syariah dengan melibatkan tokoh agama dan tokoh masyarakat setempat, serta penggunaan media komunikasi yang lebih dekat dengan masyarakat desa. Selain itu, penelitian selanjutnya disarankan untuk memperluas cakupan penelitian dengan melibatkan beberapa desa atau kecamatan lain untuk mendapatkan gambaran yang lebih komprehensif.
