Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Oluhuta Beach tourism on the income of the community in Oluhuta Village, Bone Bolango Regency. As a coastal area rich in natural and cultural potential, tourism development is expected to enhance local community welfare. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collection techniques including interviews, observations, and documentation. Informants consist of officials from the Tourism and Creative Economy Office of Bone Bolango, village government, and local tourism managers. The results show that the government's role as a regulator has not been optimal due to the lack of government involvement, with tourism activities managed independently by the community. Conversely, the roles as a dynamizer and facilitator have been effective through training programs and promotional activities. However, as a catalyst, the government has not fully succeeded in accelerating coastal tourism development, partly due to community resistance against retribution policies. This study concludes that Oluhuta Beach tourism holds significant potential to increase community income, but achieving optimal success requires strengthening synergy between the government and the community through effective communication and inclusive policies.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of the Tourism, Youth and Sports Office in developing the tourism sector in Bone Bolango Regency, with a special focus on tourist destinations in Bone Bolango Regency. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, direct interviews with informants and documentation. Data analysis is carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the role of the Tourism Office in developing tourism in Bone Bolango has not been running optimally. Although several aspects of development have been implemented well, in its implementation it still faces obstacles, especially in terms of budget limitations. In addition, several other obstacles include the lack of supporting facilities and infrastructure in most tourist destinations, as well as tourism promotion efforts that are still limited to social media, not utilizing broader and more effective promotional strategies. In terms of accessibility to tourist destinations, it is quite good, as well as the potential for local products which are quite large, but have not been fully supported by adequate infrastructure.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the efforts of the Gorontalo City Government in achieving the Nindya predicate for Child-Friendly City (CFC). The research focuses on three key aspects: inter-agency coordination among Local Government Organizations (OPD) and stakeholders, the implementation of program evaluation, and the availability of supporting budget. A qualitative approach with descriptive methods was applied. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with key informants such as the head of the agency, secretary, department heads, financial division, and community figures. The results show that the local government has formed a CFC Task Force and conducted cross-sectoral coordination. However, community and private sector participation remains limited. Program evaluation is carried out periodically but tends to emphasize administrative procedures rather than measuring the actual impact on children. Budget constraints are still a major challenge, as there is no dedicated allocation for CFC programs. Based on these findings, it is recommended that the government strengthen participatory coordination, improve impact-based evaluation systems, and advocate for thematic budget allocation to ensure the sustainability of CFC initiatives.
