Abstract

ABSTRACT   In today's digital era, Islamic businesses face unique challenges and opportunities. This study aims to investigate the transformation of Islamic business in the context of digitalization. The research method used is a literature study. The findings show that digitalization has changed the Islamic business landscape with the existence of e-commerce, fintech, and technology-based financial services platforms. However, this transformation also raises various challenges, such as data security, sharia compliance, and changes in consumer behavior. To face this challenge, Islamic businesses need to develop innovative strategies based on sharia principles and technology. By harnessing the potential of digitalization wisely, Islamic businesses can improve operational efficiency, expand markets, and provide added value to both Muslim and non-Muslim communities. This research provides insight into the role of technology in Islamic business transformation and identifies potential future research directions   ABSTRAK   Dalam era digital saat ini, bisnis syariah menghadapi tantangan dan peluang yang unik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki transformasi bisnis syariah dalam konteks digitalisasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa digitalisasi telah mengubah lanskap bisnis syariah dengan adanya platform e-commerce, fintech, dan layanan keuangan berbasis teknologi. Namun, transformasi ini juga memunculkan berbagai tantangan, seperti keamanan data, kepatuhan syariah, dan perubahan perilaku konsumen. Untuk menghadapi tantangan ini, pelaku bisnis syariah perlu mengembangkan strategi inovatif yang berbasis pada prinsip syariah dan teknologi. Dengan memanfaatkan potensi digitalisasi secara bijak, bisnis syariah dapat meningkatkan efisiensi operasional, memperluas pasar, dan memberikan nilai tambah bagi masyarakat Muslim dan non-Muslim. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan tentang peran teknologi dalam transformasi bisnis syariah dan mengidentifikasi arah penelitian yang potensial di masa mendatang

Abstract

The massive spread of hoax news online, particularly on the topic of natural disasters, has become a significant problem causing public unrest and anxiety. This research aims to design and build a system capable of automatically detecting hoax news to help improve digital literacy. The methodology involved collecting news data from online portals using web scraping techniques, followed by data preprocessing which included case folding, tokenization, stopwords removal, and stemming. The Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF) method was used for feature representation. A classification model was built using the Multinomial Naïve Bayes algorithm and subsequently implemented as a functional web application using the Django framework. The model's performance evaluation demonstrated excellent results, achieving an Accuracy of 97.26%, with balanced Precision, Recall, and F1-Score values of 0.97 for both hoax and valid classes. This study concludes that the Naïve Bayes-based hoax detection system, implemented as a web application, is an effective and viable solution for assisting users in the initial verification of online news.
