Abstract

In the industrial world, the risk of disasters such as fires, explosions, or workplace accidents can arise at any time, so preparation to deal with emergency situations is very important. Emergency preparedness involves a variety of elements, from physical infrastructure and equipment to training and awareness-raising of human resources. This research applies library research or literature study. To obtain data for literacy studies, books, research journals published locally and internationally, scientific articles, and research conducted by others can be referred to. A literature review is an overview of the literature related to a theme. It provides information on recent advances in the field. Based on the analysis of eight journals on the readiness of facilities and emergency response systems in industrial areas, it can be concluded that, although many industries have made significant efforts to improve their emergency response systems, there are still several challenges that need to be addressed. Some key findings from this research include: Compliance with Standards, Many facilities show a high level of compliance with safety standards, but there are still elements that need improvement. Routine assessments are crucial to ensure that every element of the disaster response system functions well. The significance of training, awareness, and understanding of emergency response procedures among employees is very important.

Abstract

OHS risk management is a structured process that aims to identify, analyze, and manage risks associated with occupational health and safety. In the context of highway projects, such risks may include occupational accidents, contact with hazardous materials, and unsafe work situations, By implementing effective OHS risk management, companies can reduce the likelihood of accidents, increase worker safety, and ultimately improve overall project performance. This research uses library research or literature study. To find data for literacy studies, you can refer to books, research journals published locally and internationally, scientific writings, research conducted by others. A literature review is a summary of the literature on a topic. Based on the analysis of various journals on the implementation of occupational safety and health (OHS) risk management in toll road projects, it can be concluded that OHS risk management has an important role in improving the safety and performance of construction projects. Although many studies show good results, such as improved alignment of risk management systems and efficient implementation of preventive measures, challenges in implementation still remain.

Their questionnaire responses categorized The respondents' knowledge as very good, good, sufficient, poor, or very poor. Results: The study found that 36% of mothers had good knowledge of self-medication, 19% had sufficient knowledge, 11% had poor knowledge, and 34% had very poor knowledge. Boils were identified as the most common skin disease, and Pikangsuang ointment was the most commonly stored medication among respondents. Conclusion: The findings highlight a significant variation in the knowledge levels of mothers regarding self-medication for skin diseases. Enhancing educational initiatives and providing accurate self-medication information can improve coastal communities' health outcomes. Health authorities should focus on targeted educational programs to increase awareness and proper self-medication practices

Abstract

The digital transformation of occupational health has led to various innovations that enhance efficiency, safety, and medical service quality. One notable breakthrough is ProHealth (Pertamina Robotic Health), developed by the Continuous Improvement Program (CIP) team at PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Region Sumbagut. This study examines the clinical impact and efficiency of using ProHealth as a daily health monitoring system (Daily Check Up/DCU) to strengthen the Fit To Work program in high-risk environments. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews, field observations, and document reviews involving medical staff and workers who routinely use the system. Findings reveal that ProHealthreduced average health check durations from 4 minutes 11 seconds to 1 minute 13 seconds per worker, eliminated overtime costs for medical teams, and minimized COVID-19 transmission risks through its fully automated, contactless operation. The system targets seven high-risk groups—security personnel, fuel truck drivers (AMT), heavy equipment operators, height workers, general drivers, confined space workers, and divers who face substantial occupational hazards. ProHealth enables real-time monitoring of physical conditions, increases readiness, and fosters a technology-driven safety culture. Overall, this innovation improves time and cost efficiency while strengthening the company’s Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) framework through sustainable digital transformation.
