Abstract

This community service activity aims to increase the knowledge and capacity of the Timpik Village community in managing sustainable tourism villages through the application of the eco-educational culture tourism concept. The activities carried out included socialization and training for POKDARWIS and PKK organizations. The results of this activity show an increase in community knowledge and capacity in managing sustainable tourism villages based on eco-educational culture tourism. Thus, Timpik Village has the opportunity to develop into a sustainable tourism destination, which not only attracts visitors but also empowers local communities economically and socially.

Abstract

 Abstrak. Tanaman Obat Keluarga (Toga) merupakan rempah-rempah alami yang melimpah di Negara Indonesia. Sebagai tanaman dengan efek farmakologis, menjadikan tanaman ini digunakan sebagai alternatif pengobatan herbal rumahan oleh masyarakat. Selain mudah dalam pemeliharaan tanaman ini juga mudah dalam proses pengolahan, dikenal memiliki khasiat yang cukup mumpuni dalam menangani berbagai macam masalah kesehatan golongan ringan seperti batuk, masuk angin, flu, dan lain-lain. Program pengabdian di masyarakat kali ini, kegiatan dibagi menjadi dua tahap, yaitu sosialisasi mengenai khasiat tanaman dan praktik penanaman. Sosialisasi dilaksanakan dengan harapan membawa dampak perubahan bagi masyarakat dalam memanfaatkan khasiat tanaman obat keluarga selain hanya digunakan sebagai bahan masakan. Penanaman dilaksanakan guna meningkatkan kesadaran pemanfaatan halaman pekarangan rumah warga, ataupun sebagai langkah awal bagi masyarakat dalam berbudidaya tanaman obat keluarga. Penanaman diharapkan dilakukan di halaman pekarangan rumah masyarakat agar memudahkan proses perawatan dan pemanfaatan tanaman obat tersebut.Abstract. Family Medicinal Plants (Toga) are natural spices that are abundant in Indonesia. As a plant with pharmacological effects, this plant is used as an alternative home herbal treatment by the public. Apart from being easy to maintain, this plant is also easy to process, it is known to have quite powerful properties in treating various kinds of minor health problems such as coughs, colds, flu, etc. In this Community Service Work Program, activities are divided into two stages, namely outreach regarding the benefits of plants and planting practices. The outreach was carried out with the hope of bringing about a change in society in utilizing the properties of family medicinal plants apart from just being used as cooking ingredients. The planting was carried out to increase awareness of the use of residents' home gardens, or as an initial step for the community in cultivating family medicinal plants. Planting is expected to be carried out in people's home gardens to facilitate the process of caring for and utilizing these medicinal plants.Keywords:   Community Service; Family Medicinal Plants; Practice

Abstract

  Human Empowerment is a starting point for a nation to run well in the future in all walks of life. The concept of community empowerment itself is a development program prioritized by the government. 70% community empowerment has a good impact on reducing poverty in Indonesia. This means that community empowerment can be seen from all sectors that have potential or not. Community empowerment is carried out in the form of raising awareness that it can provide new potential on limited land. The aim of this service is that the UNNES Giat 7 Sroyo Village Team provides alternative solutions to problems related to realizing new potential from limited land. This service is carried out using a comprehensive observation method by carrying out an accompanying methodology to the service location. where the focus is on Kasak Hamlet, Grumbul Sawit Hamlet RT 6 RW 1 and RT 7 RW 1, Sroyo Village, Jaten District, Karanganyar Regency, Central Java Province by means of Aquaponics Training through Budidakmber. The results of the team work program were well received by PKK Grumbul Sawit. and after the Training and Mentoring it can be managed independently by PKK members.
