Abstract

Kemiskinan merupakan masalah serius di negara berkembang, termasuk Indonesia. Di Kota Yogyakarta, salah satu upaya pengentasannya dilakukan melalui pemberdayaan UMKM, seperti Bakpia Pathok 25. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Bakpia Pathok 25 berperan penting dalam menciptakan lapangan kerja, meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat, dan mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi lokal berbasis potensi daerah. Meski sebagian besar karyawannya bukan warga Yogyakarta, usaha ini tetap memberikan dampak signifikan bagi pengentasan kemiskinan di sekitarnya. Dukungan pemerintah seperti pelatihan, sertifikasi halal, pendampingan, dan legalitas usaha turut memperkuat keberlanjutan dan daya saing UMKM ini. Kontribusinya selaras dengan Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (SDGs), khususnya poin 1 (tanpa kemiskinan) dan 8 (pekerjaan layak dan pertumbuhan ekonomi). Bakpia Pathok 25 mencerminkan solusi ekonomi yang inklusif, inovatif, mandiri, kreatif, berdaya saing tinggi, serta berkelanjutan di tingkat lokal dan nasional melalui partisipasi aktif masyarakat dan kolaborasi multisektor demi kesejahteraan sosial ekonomi yang lebih merata dan adil bagi semua.

Abstract

This training activity on application development using the Thunkable platform was designed to enhance digital literacy, logical thinking skills, and strengthen the character of adolescents through a Project-Based Learning (PjBL) approach. In today’s digital age, digital literacy is an essential competency, and equipping young people with the ability to create meaningful technology empowers them to be not just users but also creators of impactful digital solutions. The training took place on May 17, 2025, at a member’s house from the GKI Kasih congregation in Perumnas, Sorong. It was attended by 20 participants aged between 12 and 17 years. The choice of a familiar and friendly setting was intended to create a comfortable and collaborative learning environment. The training materials were structured step-by-step, starting with an introduction to the Thunkable platform, user interface (UI) design, navigation logic development using visual block programming, and culminating in group presentations and reflections on the final projects. The project theme chosen for the training was "Prophets as Role Models," aimed at integrating spiritual values and character development into an educational digital application. Through this project, participants not only gained technical skills but also reflected on the moral and inspirational values of prophetic figures in the Christian faith. Evaluation results showed that the training had a significant positive impact. Participants demonstrated increased understanding of app development concepts, were able to explain their project workflows and features, and showed high levels of enthusiasm and creativity throughout the process. Furthermore, character values such as teamwork, responsibility, and a strong learning spirit were fostered. This initiative serves as a concrete example of how technology-based education can be effectively combined with character formation. It also provides a replicable training model for other communities, particularly for church-based youth development programs that aim to nurture digitally literate and morally grounded future generations.

Abstract

Counseling is a process of interaction between two or more people who build aspects of trust in a certain thing or condition. Therefore the counseling process is very dependent on the strength of communication, understanding of the material (message) and minimizing predisposing factors that can reduce the quality of the counseling. The purpose of the counseling and mentoring is to improve the welfare of mothers and children in order to realize NKKBS (Norms for Happy Small Families). Prosperous) which is the basis for realizing a prosperous society by controlling births while ensuring controlled population growth. The method used in accompanying the use of contraceptives is by means of lectures and demonstrations, which means after the community is provided with knowledge about the types, uses, side effects, advantages and disadvantages of using these contraceptives. The evaluation used is a post test which is direct and accompanied by proof of understanding in the form of direct demonstrations. Mentoring and counseling went according to plan and got results, the majority of people who played an active role in the class could mention and demonstrate the material that had been provided by the resource person. For further activities, the resource person gave suggestions that activities like this should not stop or be seasonal and should involve other family members such as parents, in-laws, husbands and people who have an influence on a mother's life.
