Abstract

The rise of digital technology and the internet has brought about significant changes in many areas of life, including politics. One of the most noticeable changes is the use of social media as a forum for political communication. Information published on social media has the power to shape people's beliefs. TikTok is one social media site that is seen as strategically helpful for disseminating political messages. In the Purwakarta Pilkada context, using TikTok for political campaigning is new. Yadi Rusmayadi does this by using the @sahabataayofficial account. Given the many challenges that must be addressed in order to effectively express political topics, the appropriate strategy must be developed. The purpose of this study is to clarify Yadi Rusmayadi using the @sahabataayofficial TikTok platform, the Purwakarta Pilkada campaign has a political communication plan. This study combined a qualitative-descriptive methodology with a case study approach. Data was collected by observing TikTok content uploaded during the campaign time and conducting in-depth interviews with Yadi Rusmayadi and the winning team. The results of the study led to the creation of a political communication plan by Yadi Rusmayadi and the successful social media campaign by @sahabataayofficial, the team that won a political campaign on TikTok. Perkembangan teknologi digital dan internet telah menciptakan perubahan yang signifikan dalam berbagai macam aspek kehidupan, salah satunya dalam dunia politik. Satu di antara fenomena yang mencuri perhatian pada saat ini adalah penggunaan media sosial sebagai instrumen untuk komunikasi politik. Media sosial memiliki kemampuan untuk memengaruhi pandangan masyarakat melalui informasi yang disampaikan. TikTok menjadi salah satu media sosial yang dinilai strategis dalam menyampaikan pesan politik. Dalam konteks Pilkada Purwakarta, penggunaan TikTok untuk kampanye politik merupakan hal baru dan Yadi Rusmayadi memanfaatkan TikTok melalui akun @sahabataayofficial untuk berkampanye. Mengingat berbagaib macam tantangan yang ada, perlu merancang strategi yang tepat agar pesan politik dapat tersampaikan dengan baik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendeksripsikan strategi komunikasi politik yang dilakukan oleh Yadi Rusmayadi melalui platform TikTok @sahabataayofficial pada kampanye Pilkada Purwakarta. Pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan metode studi kasus. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam dengan Yadi Rusmayadi dan tim pemenangan serta observasi terhadap konten TikTok yang diunggah selama masa kampanye. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini berupa strategi komunikasi politik yang diterapkan oleh Yadi Rusmayadi dan tim pemenangan pada saat melakukan kampanye politik di TikTok @sahabataayofficial berhasil menciptakan kampanye yang strategis di media sosial.

Abstract

Education is a very important investment for the progress of a country. Indonesia is one of the countries that implements one of the points of Indonesian citizens' rights contained in Article 31 Paragraph 1, namely all citizen have the righs to a quality education tailored to their individual interest and talent. Education first comes from the family environment, then the school environment, and the community environment. However, in Indonesia, not all children are able to receive an appropriate education due to a lack of awareness of the important of education, economic disadvantage, and educational disparities which results in many children being reluctant to go to school and some of them even choose to drop out of school. Saung Baca Garpu and Rumah Belajar Kapuk are one of example. These two places are alternative schools that were founded to help children who have economic disadvantages and to embrace children who previously had no interest in learning to want to learn, at least they can recognize letters and numbers so that later they can write and read counting. From here their mindset was formed, that learning is just writing and reading. With this, the PEKA PENGAJAR Team was moved to make teaching and learning activities more enjoyable. By using team teaching methods, creativity methods, competition methods, and socialization methods. Therefore, from the activities that we have carried out, we have obtained results that children prefer to learn to be accompanied by quizzes and also change the mindset of children that learning is not only about writing but understanding what is conveyed. We really hope that the method we apply can increase children's interest in learning, and can be useful and beneficial for children's lives.
