Abstract

Competency testing (ujikom) is a crucial evaluation method in vocational education and training, assessing the extent to which students master knowledge and skills in a particular field. This Community Service Program (PkM) is dedicated to transferring knowledge and expertise from information technology lecturers and students to students of the Computer and Network Engineering (TKJ) program at SMK Ar-Rahman Bekasi. The implementation is carried out through a Softskill Competency Test (Ujikom) activity, specifically designed to strengthen students' non-technical abilities, which are highly demanded by the industry. The competencies tested include understanding operating systems and their installation, mastering computer software and hardware along with assembly, and a deep understanding of computer networks and their installation processes. Through the integration of enhanced soft skills with these technical competencies, it is expected that students will not only possess relevant expertise but also high mental readiness and adaptability, enabling them to effectively implement their knowledge in the workplace and daily life. This will significantly increase their competitiveness in the industry, ensuring that SMK Ar-Rahman Bekasi graduates are ready to face global challenges.

Abstract

This study focuses on developing a web-based Research and Community Service Information System (SIPPMAS) for Politeknik Takumi Bekasi, utilizing the Waterfall methodology. The aim is to create an integrated platform that streamlines the management of research and community service activities, from proposal submission and budget allocation to project execution and final reporting. The Waterfall method was chosen for its structured, sequential approach, ensuring a systematic development process through distinct phases: requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. This approach is expected to enhance data accuracy, improve operational efficiency, and provide real-time project monitoring, ultimately facilitating better collaboration among stakeholders and increasing the overall impact of research and community service initiatives at Politeknik Takumi Bekasi. The system is designed to address current manual administrative challenges, offering a centralized and accessible solution for all users.

Abstract

Advances in information technology have enabled the creation of more effective and personalized learning systems. This research aims to design and implement an adaptive e-learning system for Japanese language learning supported by Artificial Intelligence (AI). This system adjusts the material, difficulty level, and delivery method according to the user's abilities and learning progress. The AI techniques used include machine learning to analyze student performance, natural language processing (NLP) to transmit Japanese text and conversations, and a recommendation system to provide appropriate materials. The research results are expected to improve the effectiveness of Japanese language learning for beginners to intermediate levels.
