Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation and impact of the use of Business Management Information System (BIMS) on operational efficiency and increasing fishermen's income in Meranti Paham Village, Labuhanbatu Regency, North Sumatra. The background of this study is based on the low efficiency of traditional fisheries businesses due to the absence of a structured information recording and management system. With a qualitative approach through case studies, data were obtained through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and documentation of 15 fishermen, community leaders, and representatives of the Fisheries Service. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of BIMS, which includes recording catches, distribution, and financial reports, can improve the efficiency of fuel use, operational planning, and cost control. Economically, the use of BIMS increases fishermen's income by 20–30% and strengthens their bargaining power in the market. The success of the implementation is influenced by the support of cooperatives, the role of local leadership, and family involvement. However, obstacles such as limited digital infrastructure, low technological literacy, and concerns about data privacy are still challenges. This study recommends strengthening ongoing training, increasing access to technology, and policy support so that BIMS can be adopted more widely in the community fisheries sector.

Abstract

Indonesia has experienced remarkable development in terms of technological advancement, especially in e-commerce. The public now has more options for using courier services thanks to the growth of e-commerce. One of the courier services directly connected with Shopee is J&T Express. However, J&T Express is still often complained about by customers regarding delivery obstacles. Therefore, J&T Express needs to pay attention to the quality of service and the responsibilities provided so as not to harm consumers. The purpose of this research is to analyze the marketing strategies and responsibilities in J&T Express's delivery services. This research uses a qualitative approach in empirical legal research. The aim is to study the rules, identify them, and adapt them to the conditions on the ground. The results show that the J&T Express delivery process begins with the buyer inputting their checkout data, including the shipping address and package observations, before the J&T Express operational team sends the buyer's package. Some of the issues faced by J&T Express include delays in delivery, customer stock in the expedition warehouse, and damage to goods, which refers to physical damage or loss of package contents. To address the issue of shipping goods or packages, some solutions that can be implemented include regularly providing gifts or cash back as compensation. Keywords: strategy, responsibility, delivery

Abstract

Transformasi digital menuntut organisasi untuk memiliki sumber daya manusia yang adaptif, inovatif, dan mampu belajar secara cepat. Dalam konteks tersebut, manajemen perubahan tidak lagi cukup dilakukan secara struktural saja, tetapi memerlukan pendekatan holistik yang menyelaraskan aspek budaya, kepemimpinan, kompetensi, dan sistem kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis strategi manajemen perubahan holistik dalam membentuk adaptabilitas karyawan berbasis learning agility pada era transformasi digital. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dan analisis tematik terhadap penelitian nasional dan internasional terkait implementasi learning agility, pengembangan SDM berbasis digital, serta perubahan organisasi. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa strategi yang efektif meliputi: (1) kepemimpinan transformasional yang mendorong budaya inovasi, keberanian mengambil risiko, dan keterbukaan terhadap perubahan; (2) lingkungan kerja yang mendukung continuous learning melalui pelatihan digital, kolaborasi tim, dan manajemen pengetahuan; (3) sistem evaluasi kinerja yang menilai kemampuan adaptasi, kreativitas, serta kecepatan belajar; dan (4) penggunaan teknologi untuk otomasi, data-driven decision making, dan peningkatan produktivitas. Selain itu, learning agility terbukti menjadi faktor kunci dalam mempercepat penyesuaian karyawan terhadap teknologi baru, pola kerja digital, serta perubahan struktur organisasi. Dengan demikian, manajemen perubahan holistik berbasis learning agility mampu meningkatkan daya saing organisasi, memperkuat kapasitas SDM, dan memastikan keberlanjutan transformasi digital.
