Abstract

This research aimed to enhance the motivation of elementary school children aged 7-11 years at Pondok X in learning Mathematics through interactive and engaging methods. The research employed a pre-test and post-test design, with a learning motivation questionnaire encompassing six key indicators: (1) desire to succeed, (2) learning drive, (3) future expectations, (4) recognition in learning, (5) interest in learning activities, and (6) a conducive learning environment. The results showed a notable increase in motivation, particularly in the areas of desire to succeed, internal learning drive, and future aspirations. The interventions, including educational games such as "Mathematics Snake and Ladder," "Flash Cards," "Congklak," and "Audio-Visual Media," contributed to creating a more engaging and enjoyable learning experience. These methods, tailored to the cognitive development stages of children, proved effective in boosting their enthusiasm for learning Mathematics. The findings underscore the importance of using age-appropriate, interactive learning tools to foster positive learning behaviors. The research has practical implications for educators seeking to improve student engagement and academic performance in Mathematics.

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between self-compassion and academic burnout among final-year undergraduate students at University who are completing their theses. Academic burnout has become a significant concern due to prolonged academic stress, while self-compassion is recognized as an internal coping mechanism that may mitigate such stress. Using a quantitative correlational design, data were collected from 240 respondents through purposive sampling. Participants completed the Self-compassion Scale (SCS) and the Academic Resilience Scale-30 (ARS-30), both measured using a four-point Likert scale. Data were analyzed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) with Spearman’s Rho correlation test due to non-normal data distribution. The results revealed a strong negative and significant correlation between self-compassion and academic burnout (rs = –0.762, p 0.05), indicating that higher self-compassion levels are associated with lower academic burnout. These findings highlight the protective role of self-compassion in reducing academic exhaustion and emotional fatigue among students facing academic pressure. The study concludes that enhancing self-compassion may serve as an effective psychological strategy to prevent academic burnout in higher education contexts.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara komprehensif literatur terkait peran pendidikan kewarganegaraan dalam membentuk Generasi Emas Indonesia 2045 melalui pendekatan berbasis entrepreneurship. Pendidikan kewarganegaraan berperan penting dalam membentuk karakter generasi muda yang berdaya saing global, beretika, dan berwawasan kebangsaan. Kewirausahaan dianggap sebagai fondasi utama dalam membentuk sumber daya manusia unggul yang siap menghadapi tantangan abad ke-21. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode scoping review. Proses kajian dilakukan melalui enam tahap, yaitu identifikasi pertanyaan penelitian, penelusuran sumber literatur yang relevan, seleksi literatur dengan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi tertentu, pemetaan data, analisis tematik, serta konsultasi ahli. Pencarian literatur dilakukan pada basis data elektronik seperti SINTA dengan rentang waktu publikasi 2021–2025. Dari 80 artikel yang diidentifikasi, 7 artikel lolos seleksi dan dianalisis secara mendalam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan kewarganegaraan berbasis entrepreneurship menjadi strategi utama dalam membentuk karakter generasi muda. Namun, terdapat celah kajian berupa minimnya studi yang mengintegrasikan ketiga nilai tersebut secara holistik dalam kurikulum formal. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pengembangan model pendidikan kewarganegaraan berbasis entrepreneurship yang terstruktur, terukur, dan didukung teknologi digital untuk mewujudkan visi Indonesia Emas 2045.
