Abstract

This research explicitly examines the strategy model employed in the growth of Islamic institutions in terms of educational technology plans geared at organizational sustainability. The research employs a qualitative approach. The study's interpretation is applicable and backed by field data, resulting in a model for the establishment of Islamic institutions that may serve as a reference in Pakistan. This study examines studies on strategic goals, curricular relevance to industry demands, and employment outcomes for university graduates. The survey found no substantial difference between Islamic and regular universities. The university's development strategy is in line with the government. As such, colleges have been given the option to develop creative programs. In this situation, program innovation is driven by technology and information. The Islamic University of Pakistan conducted employment market and labor research, as well as studies that illustrate the pattern of using Information Communication Technology (ICT), which revealed significant developments in the field of sustainability and community oriented. Furthermore, the study's findings revealed a gap between activities at Islamic institutions and the experiences and skills required for young people to enter the information technology business. The paper has consequences for innovation and shifting priorities in higher education policy.

Abstract

The importance of pesantren growth has not been matched by improvements in the quality of pesantren education services. One of the policies focuses produces a transformation of the pesantren curriculum. This study will examine at how tradition and modernity interact in the pesantren curriculum management system. The study was conducted in two pesantren in Aceh Tengggara, Darul Amin and Darul Azhar. The research methodology was qualitative, with a descriptive survey technique. Data were gathered from seven informants, including the leader, curriculum deputy, and several pesantren teachers. The research data was analyzed using a data comparative model. The findings demonstrated the efficacy of combining traditional management with contemporary management, with a focus on improving the core of pesantren education services, specifically the pesantren curriculum. The identification of Buya Pesantren's leadership style results in transformative and charismatic leadership styles. The process of curriculum transformation culminates in an integrative pattern between the dayah-salafy-KMI curriculum. The curriculum transformation policy is also implemented through extracurricular activities aimed at improving Santri's soft and hard skills. While learning is conducted instructionally and in accordance with technological advancements, the selection of learning materials is broad in scope. The findings have implications for santri skills and competitiveness in society, particularly in the workplace.

Abstract

This research aims to elucidate the determinant factors that influence the performance of remote students at the State Islamic Institute (IAIN) Lhokseumawe. Framed within a descriptive qualitative research design, this study employs a case study approach as its primary data collection methodology. The underpinning factors influencing performance are gathered through an extensive document study. The findings derived from the performance study of IAIN Lhokseumawe students reveal that the determinants of student performance are influenced by both internal and external factors. The internal factor encompasses self-management (self-efficacy), while the external factors include cultural and environmental aspects. This study provides in-depth insights into how these intertwined factors contribute to the academic performance of remote students and offers a holistic understanding of the challenges and opportunities that these students encounter in their academic journey.
