Abstract

The glocalization of education presents a paradox between global standardization and the preservation of local identity in schools. Elementary education leadership is required to be adaptive to global dynamics without losing local cultural roots. This study aims to reconstruct a glocal leadership model based on the value of ing ngarsa sung tuladha in the thoughts of Ki Hajar Dewantara through a library research approach. Primary data were obtained from 25 reputable international and national journal articles indexed Q1, Q2, Sinta 1, Sinta 2 which were analyzed using thematic analysis and conceptual synthesis. The results of the study indicate that Ki Hajar Dewantara's exemplary principles have epistemological compatibility with the concept of glocalization which emphasizes the integration of global and local values in educational leadership practices. This study produces a Glocal leadership model GLOKADIG that integrates humanist digital exemplary behavior, value-based adaptive leadership, and glocal community involvement. Abstract

This study aims to holistically describe the process of integrating social-emotional skills (SEL) into deep learning through project-based co-curricular activities among fourth-grade students of Class IV B at SDN Rungkut Kidul II/581 Surabaya. The main focus is directed toward three dimensions of SEL, namely collaboration, communication, and emotional regulation. This research employed a single instrumental case study design. The research subjects consisted of 28 students and three teachers (classroom teacher, religious education teacher, and physical education teacher). Data collection techniques included passive participant observation, semi-structured in-depth interviews, and document analysis. Data analysis encompassed data condensation, data display, as well as conclusion drawing and verification. The results indicate that the microgreens project served as an effective vehicle for integrating SEL, with the following key findings. First, collaboration skills evolved from unbalanced task distribution toward prosocial behavior and positive interdependence, characterized by students' willingness to help peers without being asked as well as collective responsibility for maintaining environmental cleanliness. Second, communication skills were marked by the internalization of communicative ethics through the habitual use of polite expressions such as "please," "sorry," and "thank you," although active listening skills still require further reinforcement. Third, emotional regulation demonstrated improved adaptive resilience, in which students were able to remain calm, manage frustration, and try again after experiencing failure, facilitated by teacher modeling and the STOP technique.
